Dr. Amy Schimke, MD

I have been seen by Dr. Amy Schimke several times this year (2024) with cardiac-related issues . Recently she listened patiently to a new concern of mine and got right on testing me. The test results revealed a new B.L.E. vascular problem, indeed. Dr.Schimke is all about resolving my cardiac issues in a timely manner, for my best health outcome. Her teaching expertise is not just limited to her sharing of info. She has an empathetic way of teaching one-on-one that leaves me not just wiser about my own body; but which opens my eyes to activities and eating habits I can actually get started on in my everyday life to achieve positive results for my own best cardiac health. I am more motivated into action. She also has a way of teaching, in an office visit, with both an obvious professional concern and also with a caring concern, which I really need to not feel overwhelmed by seemingly scary cardiac issues of mine. I can truly appreciate Dr.Schimke as a top-rated cardiologist.

Always kind and courteous

The visit was extremely professional, beginning with the pleasant receptionist who checked me in. As a first-time patient, Dr Schimke asked many detailed questions and encouraged me to do the same. She was detailed in her explanations, and I could tell she thought carefully before she spoke. She took my questions and comments seriously, answering in detail. The most important thing to me was that she listened. I have been under the care of at least 4 different cardiologists in your network and without a doubt she was the best. I also want to again compliment the woman who checked me in. My wife and i retired and moved to the area 3 years ago and I was quite anxious about finding new doctors. That anxiety was calmed due to the staff's professionalism.

Dr Amy Schimke was outstandingly excellent! She listened carefully, was very thorough, asked lots of questions and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. She was very knowledgeable! Despite having a full schedule, she wasn't "rushed " when seeing me. Her medical assistant was very personal, professional and friendly. The Nurse I seen was awesome! She was personal, friendly, and explained things very well. The staff at the desk was very personal, friendly and helpful. Nowadays, this level of service is very rare!! We felt a Culture of professionalism, knowledge with a sincere personal touch!

Great experience from the minute I was greeted by Sierra at the reception desk. Dr. Schimke was thorough, listening to and responded to all my questions in terms I could easily understand.
