Of If I could leave a zero
I was recommended to come this this office due to there being very great with listening and caring about women's health.I can strongly say this is not the truth. I had an IUD put in a year ago. Was not able to get it checked to having sever uti every month due to me having to have kidney stone surgically removed. So I came to Dr.amy.She argued about me not having endo even though my last gyno said she believed I did, but wanted to try a few things like an IUD to see if it would make me feel better.Upon my exam she did not let me know when she was inserting the speculum, I jumped in pain and said that hurts, and she said yeah it may hurt. That all,Then pulled it out with out warning.I was in pain for days, with bleeding more than normal after that apts Then instead hearing my concern you was very aggressive about I should take a second birth control on top of my IUD and that there no other option for me.Did not seem to care and seemed as if I was an inconvenience for her day.

Apathetic, uncaring
I've come to this office twice admittedly, however I am incredibly dissatisfied. I went into the office today per the nurse telling me i need to, to discuss my concerns that my employer is requesting. Not only did I mention that my employer is asking me to seek an accommodation to make sure I don't lose my job, but i also mentioned that I have lost jobs prior due to my illness. Amy proceeded to tell me that she will not approve the accommodation, but also told me I don't have the diagnosis that I have simply because she didn't diagnose me despite it being in my medical records. She also proceeded to tell me that I need an ultrasound to confirm if I have this diagnosis. Additionally I was told 'Because I didn't call the office every time I experienced a flair up' she will not assist.

Her bedside manner is not caring at all. I asked, questions on side effects of a medication she was giving me. She said, it did not have the certain side effects that I asked her about. I went and looked it up, and it had several or if not a lot more that I definitely did not need. Also, I have a history of something personal and that is why I went to a female doctor, and she seemed to disregard it, and she was very abrupt and non sensitive to my situation. I am very truly disgusted with the way I was treated. I guess my insurance was not good enough for her.

I would like to preface this by saying I’ve never left a review for any poor experience in my life. My wife is pregnant and we’ve had numerous bad experiences with OBs and their nurses at Edward Hospital. Everything we’ve learned about pregnancy has had to be through our own research, the OBs have given us very little information throughout. All 3 times we called with concerns regarding the pregnancy, we were treated terribly and basically dismissed. As for Dr Stoeffler specifically, she had incredibly bad bedside manner, lacked empathy, couldn’t answer questions, and caused undue pain. For cervical exams, she was extremely rough and inferred it would be very unpleasant beforehand. My wife had two other OBs perform cervical exams which were much less painful as they were much more gentle. When we called at 1 am because we weren’t sure if her water broke, her answer after we explained the situation and a long pause was “I don’t know what to tell you”.

After a few visits with Dr. Stoeffler I switched doctors. During my first pelvic exam at 18, she stuck the speculum in and cranked it open without any warning, and since I was not prepared, it was excruciatingly painful. She seemed to not care that I was nearly in tears. I am scared every time I get a pelvic exam now because of that experience. The next time I saw her was for a pain problem. She acted like I was wasting her time and was very insensitive. She did not offer any solutions that I had not already tried and I left feeling very frustrated. I ended up having to do my own research on my symptoms (Which you would think would be the doctor's job) and brought what I found to another doctor, who immediately diagnosed me with interstitial cystitis and performed surgery soon after. IC is not an uncommon female problem so I got the impression that she just did not care enough to look into it more, which meant that I spent several more weeks in pain that could have been avoided.

I found Dr. Stoeffler very pleasant. She saved my life from her quick response to my problem and found that I had endometrial cancer. She wasted no time when I came to her office and immediately did a Biopsy. My previous Dr. gave me a Pap smear and said everything was fine. She then referred me to a Gynecological Oncologists who is one of the best. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for her and I am still under her care.

She had horrible bedside manner in office and seemed to careless about my pregnancy. I love every dr. In this office except for her. She ended up as the dr. On call for my delivery and was terrible to work with. She barely helped my 12 hrs of labor and when I asked her to be more present she actually said this is not my job. I come when the baby's head is out. She then forced me into a c-section. I asked to push in different positions before c-section and she said fine, on your own and left.

She was not very personable, nor took time to really listen/respond to my questions. Poor bedside manner and disingenuous disposition, as she seemed rushed and unconcerned with some of my issues.
