Dr. Yam is a thoughtful, smart, and informed. She hasn't hesitated to help me get to specialists or order care as needed, and she really listens to me and my concerns. She's young and extremely engaged; I like that she talks through her thought processes as well as any in-office procedures thoroughly. I'm so happy I found Dr. Yam!

Did not inform the ER doctors of my lab results - thus they denied my admission based on "low suspicion of infection" - I was not informed of them either - 5 weeks later - 7 different visits to Swedish - after the positive infection result (not noted by anyone or diagnosed) I developed Sepsis and lost 2 toes to amputation - and now am severely traumatized. She has a great personality - yes - but that is not really as important as protecting a patient's life.

She is so detail-oriented, very open and honest, and was genuinely caring. I have some anxiety/depression + some related IBS issues that have been there for a few years, and she was always so caring and considered/showed me all of my options and her recommendations regarding my issue, and explained everything to me so I could make the best decision for me. She's probably my favorite doctor out of the doctors I've had.

Careless and callous - would rather watch you drown then help pull you out of trouble.
