Knife happy
My husband went to her because his regular U of M eye doctor was booked up for7 months ahead. His distance vision was getting a little blurry so he went in for a new prescription for his glasses. They barely checked his eyes, then Dr Zhang told him she wouldn’t do anything because he didn’t have cataract surgery. My husbands regular dr. Said he didn’t have to have surgery if his vision was still good. Next time he will wait to get an appointment with his regular doctor.

I had a good experience when I had a glaucoma in my right eye, last year. I visited her at her UH Campus in Westlake. She took the time testing my eyes and explaining the sudden loss of my vision in the right eye. I am really disturbed seeing the above 2 negative reviews about Dr. Zhang. My experience with her, on a couple of occasions, was positive and found her to be very polite and friendly.

Dr. Zhang was extremely rude to my elderly father. She made fun of us and talked down to us as if we were beneath her. I was simply asking a question about his medications. She rushed us out of the exam room so rudely. And I could hear her making fun of my father in the room next to ours. I felt appalled that someone could be so unprofessional and unkind towards those in need. Think twice before visiting her clinic.

Dr. Zang came off as fake when she talked to my mother and me. Then after she left the room we heard her talking about us. We also heard her talk to the other doctors in her clinic and were appalled by her demeanor. Extremely unprofessional. Do not recommend. I guess not everything can be taught in medical school.
