Her way or no way
Been seeing her for the year but it’s time for a change. She makes a recommendation, for a procedure, doesn’t ask for my input . When I responded to her nurse he became flustered and that it must be done. Then the internal staff played tossed my questions between each other for who was going to answer. I could sense the tension between them.

Awful Doctor
If I could give 0 stars to this doctor, I would. This practitioner was my mom’s cardiologist. Gave my mom a MRI of her heart, saw she had a she called a “minor” blockage, put her on statin and told us not to worry because, under her care she will have my mom “ live to 100” and sent us on our way. Thankfully my mom followed up with her PC doctor and he felt it was strange Dr. Mercedes Germosen didn’t run a stress test. So, at my mom’s request, one was done by one of the NP that works under Dr. Mercedes. Turns out my mom failed the stress test but couldn’t even get an appointment for over a month to get the results. Thankfully, my mom found an amazing cardiologist and went for a second opinion. Turns out my mom had a 99% blockage in a major artery and required a stent. If we stayed with Dr. Merecedes we would have NEVER knew this, and my mom would have most likely suffered a major heart attack and died. To sum everything up, STAY AWAY FROM THIS CARDIOLOGIST

Just one more heart doctor in the KRMC umbrella that is rude, arrogant and really won't listen to you. This is the only heart center that I have gone to that keeps changing my diagnosis from one DR to another. I was in the hospital once and my then heart DR. never once checked in with me and I had pneumonia, bronchitis, flu and CHF. REALLY?
