Dr. Omar's office was incredibly slow to return urgent phone calls and answer time sensitive questions. The patient went to Methodist ER three times with the same symptoms and it was only when a different doctor stepped in that it was discovered the patient had perforated his intestine. He kept telling Dr. Omar that he was in pain and something was wrong. She did not seem in a hurry to address the issue. Once the perforated intestine that Dr. Omar missed was discovered, surgery was performed but unfortunately, the patient had a stoke and died. Dr.Omar's refusal to listen to her patient, treat or even answer questions with any sense of urgency is what directly led to a family friend's death at 51. Don't go here. Literally go anywhere else.
