Would not recommend at all
I felt he didn’t care if I was there are not. I reported my lower leg he’d begun seeping clear fluid, soaking my sock and shoe, the doctor said “why are you even here? Just elevate your leg! “ and that was it. Did not ask any questions about my leg, or my medications. I’m 95 years old and live alone but I do have a brain! Will not be going back.

I've been seeing Dr. Andre Vendryes for about 20 years now! I've been through shoulder surgery and a couple back procedures, too. Recently, he's taken me off Metformin, as my A1C was below 6.0; and he was instrumental in me getting my health back. Ages 55 to 75 seeing him. He's knowledgeable, kind and has a good sense of humor, most visits!

Not for me
Dr. Vendryes seems like a nice person but he is not involved with his patients. I have seen him for four years and he doesn't know me at all. When you question him, he disregards your concern. When you ask him a question, he provides a basic answer and doesn't relate it to you. When you have a specific request, he doesn't comply. It is very hard (practically impossible) to get his office staff to return calls. He has misdiagnosed more than once and provided incorrect medication more than once. I feel as if he just goes through the necessary procedures to collect from Medicare. I finally am changing my doctor. When I mentioned my dilemma to two other people whom I know use him, they both told me that they also changed doctors and they had the same complaints that I did.

Can't review Dr. Vendryes, never got to see him...
It was not good from the start to finish. I had covid and called his nurse prior to my scheduled visit which was a week later and told her I had covid and was having respiratory difficulty. She then told me that if it was bad, go to the emergency room, otherwise she could get me in to see Dr. Vendryes the following day. It wasn't an emergency, I said I would wait to see him the following day. I did feel better and knew I had a yearly visit the next week so I canceled that morning. Now I'm into the 8th day of covid and show up for my yearly scheduled visit. The front desk was total disarray. I did make it to the back room and reiterated that I still tested positive for covid. He was appalled that I got in. I asked why she would make the appointment in the first place? That's why I thought it was ok to come back!! His nurse (she) then repeated "No I didn't". First, so childish to treat me like that!!! Second, she endangered all of us!!! I can't believe how this office is run!!!

Dr. Vendryes is a great Dr. Very friendly, knowledgeable and personable. Unfortunately his front office staff is impossible to deal with. Calls, once through, always go to voice mail and are never returned! Trying to coordinate between insurance, the pharmacy and the Dr. office is impossible.

Dr. Vendryes is very caring and takes his time to understand your symptoms. I do truly believe he cares about people, but I was misdiagnosed after getting a second opinion from another doctor. I will not return to this doctor for several reasons, but the main reason is the lack of communication. His nurse does not return phone calls and you have to keep calling and calling and stay on top of it, good luck getting a hold of her. For that reason I will not longer go to this practice.

If I could give 0 out of 5 stars I DEFINITELY would! The staff is unprofessional and rude witch is no surprise. The Dr himself is the worst. He refuses to give you referrals. Tells you what you want to hear, and then its on your way again. Not to mention dropping clients with NO heads up. Thanks, because I don't need an irresponsible medical professional checking on me. I'd rather have one who ins't so selfish, and has some staff that has some REAL respect.

My whole family and myself were patients of Dr. Vendryes. I am in my fifties and suffer from high blood pressure and shortness of breath. Coming from a family with a history of heart disease, I wanted to get a second opinion from a local cardiologist. Dr. Vendryes refused to give me a referral saying "you're fine" and "it is not necessary". After insisting that he give me a cardiologist referral he dropped my whole family as patients, and did not even have the courtesy to tell us. Horrible!

This doctor's office tried to charge me for services that my insurance company already paid for. They told me that my insurance company denied my claims because I didn't pay my insurance premiums. Not only did my insurance company pay the claims, but they told me that my premiums were paid in full and up to date. When I cofronted this doctor's office they claimed it was a misunderstanding. What a joke! I'm glad God gave me common sense to investigate before making a decision.

He is dictatorial, does not listen to patient enough, sells herbal products in his front office, features a gigantic Bible there (which could be off-putting to others of other faiths or no religious persuasion), and just in general is not a satisfactory physician. I'd go to a voodoo doctor or medicine woman first, before returning to Vendry's office. I can buy herbal products on my own. Most do not work, anyway, if you're really sick. If you're really sick, find another physician besides A.V

My daughter first visited Dr. Vendryes and I found him to be a patient and caring person. I then chose the doctor for my own self. He listens, explains and seems to genuinely care what the patient has to say. I never felt rushed during my visit.
