Wonderful Doctor
Dr. Garland took time with my exam. I am 63 years old. Having a pelvic exam for myself is difficult given my age and other factors. Am very happy with her care.

Unsupportive
In my first visit with Dr. Garland, I immediately had concerns. For my first appointment, she was over an hour late - annoying but ok, it happens. After I finally saw her, she rushed in and out of my room in about 10 minutes. Didn’t ask me anything of my menstrual history and didn’t care to listen to any of my concerns. Her tone was demeaning and condescending. She kept cutting me off, didn’t want to hear me out, and seemed like she had a plan for me before we even met. Fast forward a few months later and she’s been so unsupportive in my journey to become pregnant. In every interaction with her, I’ve felt more like a burden to her than a patient. The only redeeming action for me is that she quickly referred me to a specialist. When I do become pregnant, I will immediately be searching for a new OBGYN. I can’t imagine going through a pregnancy and birth with her lack of support .

Does not listen and has her own agenda
Dr Garland is a pushy doctor who only believes there is one way to do anything and that is her way. She pushed my wife for a C section over and over even when other Drs in the hospital had faith that was not needed. She uses fear mongering tactics to make you do what she wants and if you don’t listen she will try to force the issue. When we did not listen to her wanting to do a C section, all while our baby was perfectly healthy and other Drs, along with every nurse, did not believe that was needed, she proceeded to shut off the induction medication to force the contractions to stop in an attempt to force our hand. If not for another Dr in the labor ward she would have had her way. The other Dr agreed there was no reason we could not have the baby naturally and turned the medication back on. If you want someone to tell you what to do without listening to your wishes she is the best Dr for you. If you have your own mind and can think for yourself I’d avoid her at all costs. Worst OBGYN

I am not one to write reviews however she saved my daughters life when TWO other doctors down played my complication so much so one was laughing during my ultrasound and the other kept saying it wasn’t serious but we should probably keep you for observation. This was the most traumatic experience, anyone who’s pregnant could have she not only saved my daughters life, but she made my C-section scar as minimal as possible and ACTUALLY listened to me and rushed me into a c section not even five minutes after I said something is not right. She doesn’t sugar coat things and will be very direct with you and explain every little risk so you can understand the extent of any issue. When I had my follow up visit she made me feel comfortable and seemed to really care about how I was doing mentally with having everything happen so fast and early. I in turn switched her to my permanent OB with full confidence something like this won’t happen again

Worst doctor's visit of my life
I would highly advise anyone considering seeing this provider to rethink. I had the worst experience I have ever had at a doctor's office. Dr. Garland never once asked about my menstrual health history prior to my last cycle or the long family history I have with menstrual health disorders, and when I tried to share the information she repeatedly cut me off and did not let me share the information with her. She never once asked me to explain how painful my cramps were, how heavy my bleeding has been, or any other information that would allow her to make a proper diagnosis. She instead immediately told me that what I was experiencing was "normal" (without even allowing me to explain all the very not normal symptoms I have been experiencing). She read my chart and seemed to have made a plan for what to do next before even speaking to me and learning all that I have been experiencing and suffering from. She spoke to me in a tone that was very demeaning and tried to downplay my symptoms

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never had a doctor speak to me the way this awful woman did. So extremely rude, 0 bedside manner, 0 respect. I left my appointment furious and in tears.

Dr.Garland is one of the best doctors I have ever had. She gives you plenty of time even when she's behind schedule. She always goes over my records and asks questions to update them each time I go in. She explains everything ahead of time. Excellent patient care. Highly recommend her if you are looking for a new doctor.

I haven't even meet Dr. Garland, but my review is about her staff. I called on March 7, I was in the phone for about 45 minutes or more providing all information to enroll as new patient. After calling today to schedule a first appointment with Dr Garland, I was told the Dr was not accepting "new" patients. I have "enrolled" many days ago...So I just wasted 45 minutes on the phone! Plus, on the website it says she is accepting new patients. I am extremely disappointed.

Dr. Garland is very thorough and caring. She really invests time in all of her patients. She cares for all of her patients like she is caring for her own family members. I would highly recommend Dr. Garland to anyone that is looking for OB/GYN care.

She cancelled my appt TWICE in a row. I've been trying to get in to see her as a new patient and the office called to cancel twice. The 2nd appt was 8am and the automated system confirmed me Friday and the front office said yeah she is sick today and we called you this morning. I live an hour away and I'm sure was driving to 1st appt of the day for her. Wow.....so incredibly frustrating as these appts are booked so far out to begin with. Go to someone else.
