Dr. Andrea Katz, MD

Dr Katz is unprofessional and uncaring. Only worried about CYA. My 83 yo mother passed due to vulva cancer. Sure she had a heart condition and COPD. Every time she went to an appt she was sent to ER because she couldn’t breathe. That’s to be expected with chemo. Katz told me cancer advanced with radiation-chemo. Started full chemo & she got 1 treatment then never received more. Katz wanted all her docs to sign off that she was okay for chemo. Most of the docs were with Advent and easily could have signed off through the system. She died in severe pain. Katz was abrasive and never listened. Don’t use Katz or Advent. Go to Jacksonville for cancer treatment. Advent Health doctors don’t follow up or talk to each other. There’s more to say but I am so upset. Mom shouldn’t have died this way. Advent Health needs to start listening to patients. Dr Katz medical license should be pulled. She shouldn’t be allowed to practice medicine. Her PA Mona was the only good person there.

Dr. Katz & Staff, Were very good at putting me at ease. In a very stressful time in my Life.

She spent quality time with us, she was caring, thorough, explained everything that I needed to know for all my following appointments.

Excellent physician. Very honest and caring. Update with new therapies and clinical trails. Great bedside manners and took the time to guide us trough the one of the most scary time of our life.

Dr Katz is absolutely amazing. Her Nurse Amanda is excellent and very compassionate. As a team they made me feel confident that i made the right decision in choosing the best medical team to treat my newly diagnosed breast cancer. I have to give credit to the office staff as they are attentive and my appointments are always on time.

Be prepared to wait and hopefully you don't have any questions for her nurse practitioner because they never call you back otherwise Dr Katz is great just don't care for her staff

Dr. Katz is an amazing Doctor who has always been very compassionate to me and my situation. On my first visit and every one since then, i have felt very comfortable with her. Her nurse is amazing, they make a great team and always follow-up with everything that I need and that they say they will. I would definitely recommend her as a Doctor.

I have had an excellent experience dealing with Dr. Katz. She really listens to her patients which few doctors take the time to do. She was responsive to all my concerns.

Very professional and so easy to talk to . This doctor takes her time to answer all your questions and doesn't stop until all questions are answered and understood. I love the office staff especially Lilly. They take your concerns to heart and will go overboard to make sure that you get your results and answers. When your 20 yo daughter has lousy blood work you fear the worst . Lilly went beyond the call to make sure we got in too see Dr Katz right away. Dr. Katz had me reassured within the first 5 minutes of the visit. I can't thank this office enough.

Dr. Katz is an outstanding doctor and goes above and beyond the call of duty. She spends time getting to know her patients and is so kind and friendly. I never felt scared because she talked me through everything and explained it to me with such compassion and care. I really loved getting to know her and have her treat me. I wish she could be my doctor for everything! I highly recommend this amazing dr!
