Dr. Andrea Pakula, MD

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Pakula. She hands down is the best. From the very first time I saw her I knew for any needed surgery that she would be my go to surgeon. She is kind, compassionate and truly cares about her patients needs. Dr. Pakula you rock!

Dr. Pakula repaired 3 of my abdominal hernias using robotic laparoscopic, essentially painless procedure and recovery period. She also removed 10 very large cysts from my liver robotically with minimal discomfort during recovery. She made herself available to answer my questions and concerns by returning calls when she was away from outside her office and outside her normal office hours. She is patient, friendly, and answered all my questions regarding my procedures, and always showed great empathy for my well-being and concerns, without rushing during my office visits and phone calls. She is also a dedicated professional that, obviously, wants to help people and is intrinsically motivated to perform her craft with excellence.

I just recovered from my very first surgical procedure. I am a seventy-year-old active male. Dr. Pakula repaired a Hernia, that I had lived with since it first occurred, when I was nineteen. Recovery from the procedure was mostly pain free, I took no meds! I was able to resume normal activities (except she told me to take it easy for 2 weeks) the day following the procedure. Like I said I have no prior experience, for which I can compare, but I cannot imagine there is anyone more skilled or better suited to take care of this kind of issue. I am very grateful to her for the care and skill that she provided.

Dr. Pakula is very thorough and takes her time answering all of our questions. She made my husband and I feel very comfortable about surgery. I am very happy with how everything turned out and would recommend her to anyone.
