Definitely not recommended
I met Dr. Raymond briefly once for a nerve test. Her medical assistant incorrectly diagnosed and prescribed medication and physical therapy for Parkinson’s Disease in Fall 2020. Drug interaction with bipolar medication caused rapid and extremely severe deterioration of physical and mental symptoms. My family and I were unable to contact her office until I was hospitalized with a paranoid psychotic episode. In Fall 2024 I saw a Parkinson’s specialist who determined I do not have Parkinson’s Disease. The harrowing experience I had with Parkinson’s treatment was completely unnecessary. I lost a year of my life to treatment and recovery. I do not recommend Dr. Raymond or her medical assistant. She doesn’t see her patients, her medical assistant can’t properly diagnose or treat Parkinson’s and her office is very hard to reach.

I am flabbergasted, Dr. Raymond was extremely dismissive and patronizing. Worst experience I have ever had with anyone that considered themselves a professional, in any field. You and your loved ones deserve so much better.

Doesn't care
Dropped our insurance and didn't notify us until we arrived for appointment. Refused to see us unless we paid out of pocket. This is after Dr. Raymond personally said she would still be taking our insurance in May 2022. Also, her office never notified us of abnormal lab results from May 2022 (we were going to ask at this office visit); now will need to find another neurologist before we know what they mean. This is the second time her office failed to notify of abnormal tests! She may be a qualified doctor, but the lack of follow through on patient care and her office policies clearly say, at least to me, 'Stay Away'.

THE WORST RUN OFFICE I HAVE EVER SEEN.
I can't tell you if Dr Raymond is good, bad or indifferent. Met briefly in her Office. She said she was going to order Physical Therapy and an MRI. It's been over two weeks and neither has been contacted. Website says 3-5 working days. It takes 30 seconds (or less) to write the order and 3-5 "WORKING " Days to fax it? I've tried to reach the office. Their greeting is moronic and nobody picks up anyway. NOTE TO DR. RAYMOND. TRY TO CALL YOUR SELF.

APPOINTMENT
We took my mother in law there per a referral from her doctor. Made appointment did all paper work on line but when we arrived they wouldn't see her because she was at a rehab/nursing facility. Okay, I understand it is a medicare thing but wish someone would have reviewed paper work first. But then they called every week with a opening which was good and when we went back everyone was Great with her. Dr. Raymond was very good with her explained what was happening and even said she wished the primary care would have sent her four or five years ago when systems started so she could have helped her sooner. I even witnessed a homeless person needing help founding their way and they wrote directions for them.

Took almost a year to get a telemed visit. Responses to emails were “out there “. Diagnosis by assistant was Alzheimer’s (in which time is so important), he handed us the “bomb” and that was it! No follow up appt., no advice, nothing. Don’t even try to call…all you will get is the machine and you don’t even know WHO to ask for.

From my very first encounter the office staff and the doctor herself were patronizing, dismissive, inconsistent and unavailable. No patient portal, often no one answers the phone, up to 5 days to answer a message left. My diagnosis after all was said and done was "because everything else has been ruled out" which didn't make me feel very confident. She prescribed a medication that cost $172/month. When I mentioned this to her, she had no idea it was expensive and she said she could give me the twice a day instead of extended release and it would be less expensive. When I went to pick up the new prescription it was $9 for a 90 day supply. You'd think she would know what she was prescribing. I am seeing a new neurologist who will do more thorough testing and who was not convinced that my diagnosis was accurate. All in all a HORRIBLE experience. Do NOT go to this doctor.

I never met or saw the doctor but if your trying to go there find another doctor. The staff is the most incompetent frustrating lying group of people I have ever dealt with. I tried to write it in the review but I ran out of character. In the end when I finally got my appointment I showed up the receptionist walked to door and asked if she could help me I said I had an appt. she said they were not having in office visits I told her when I scheduled the appt. I specifically asked in house or video I was told I’m house. But on this day she says no I argued with her that she was wrong but Noooo was her answer. I had to go to my car and download some app but never got connected. Then she calls me while I’m sitting outside her door and tries to help and keeps resending app. Then she tells me I was right they were accepting in house visits but they stopped.???? This was after trying to download there app. Finally she says she will have to cancel the visit. I fired them on the spot worthles…

Rude doctor, rude staff, unprofessional. Litterally an outrageous experience. I arrived early to my appt and the staff told the me the meds that my pharmacy overnighted the day before did not arrive and canceled my appointment. When I showed them the email from OptimumRX that UPS delivered the meds an hour prior, they still told me that it didn't arrive and that I had to be rescheduled for the THIRD time (other reasons to be rescheduled at the very last minute.) When I finally got upset and mentioned I didn't feel comfortable with this office lying to me, the "Medical Assistant" Maggie went to a room within eye-sight of the front desk, opened a door and then I saw her open a freezer, grab 3 purple boxes of my mede and put it back into the shipping box it came in, folded the top of the box shut, and came and slid it up onto the counter at the front desk saying I had to take it and couldn't come'back. I had no idea how to handle this temperature sensitive bio-toxin medication. Outrageous

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I truly wished I had read the reviews here before spending 39 days, 4 phone calls, 7 e-mails, and countless hours of time tracking down referrals and paperwork to get my father into a much needed appointment for severe memory loss issues. Sadly, Dr. Raymond's office called 56 minutes before his scheduled appointment to inform us that she had "declined to see him because he already has a neurologist." Informing the patient less than an hour before his appointment after arrangements had been made to take off work and medical care had been delayed is completely unacceptable. When I asked Dr. Raymond's assistant to whom I could file a formal complaint regarding this matter, her response was "you'll have to research that yourself." For the record, it's the TEXAS MEDICAL BOARD, and I highly recommend completing the simple online complaint submission if you have a complaint against a medical professional.

They wouldn’t refill my medication mind you it wasn’t a narcotic either. Then without warning they said I couldn’t receive treatment there anymore because I had to cancel an appointment. Mind you it was in the middle of a pandemic. Now I am receiving certified letters from them. Who knows what this is about boarder line harassing me at this point!!

I was refered to her by the ER doctor and so regret it. I should have done my own homework and read the reviews before. Her staff is rude, she only saw me once, and to read the test results I'm left with the NP, who is highly INCOMPETENT. I don't know how she leaves patients at his care. I asked him basic questions about my test results and he did not know how to answer. He left the room and came back with notes on a paper that he explained to me, so I assume he went to google it. He wanted to put me on seizure meds without any evidence of seisure activity. He said he wanted to see me in 6 weeks. At the front desk I asked to see the doctor next time and they did not want do schedule me saying she is not available until Jan 2020! I said that's fine, I will wait. Then she said I signed a paper the first day agreeing to see the NP. I should've told her I never signed it as I did not like that from the beginning and tore that paper appart. I left to never go back to that office

I was referred by my doctor so I expected this to be a good visit and a better doctor. Boy have I been fooled..she has wasted my time by ordering an EEG in which case it took her 3 weeks to "get back with me" Then she didn't have the respect to see me. She let her PA who appeared to no ZIP! I will never go back and if you look at other reviews they indicate the same. Don't waste your time!

Had an appointment. They did not have my test results which as done a month earlier. They said they lost info because of a new computer system. Why didn’t they call to reschedule? Didn’t even see the doctor only the PA. I feel like I need a new neurologist because of their inability to keep records.

I had an appt with Dr.Raymond, all of 10 minutes. Second appt the PN was the only one I got to see. He didn't have my test results which were available for over a month. Dr. Raymond ordered another MRI and it was declined from my insurance because she never sent them the results of the first MRI. Just bad management all the way around. I'm looking for another neurologist.

I feel very deceived! Thinking I was signing the usual "you agree to pay whatever the insurance does not," I apparently signed a form saying I would get my own referral or be responsible for the charges. I've never seen this form before and was not on the lookout for that. I would not have been there if my doctor had not referred me, and I assumed all the referrals had been done. I don't even know HOW to do that! So if you go to this Doctor WATCH OUT FOR THAT LITTLE FORM AND MAKE SURE YOUR REFER

I have been a patient for several years. Went to office for the appt, waited for 1.5 hrs. Never saw NP-no one ever came in to tell me there was a delay, nothing. I stuck my head out at the 40 min mark and was told I was next. Waited another 40 minutes and left. I never received my test or lab results. Will not got back.
