Outstanding Surgeon
I was also a little confused by some of the low reviews as I found Dr. Resciniti to be really top notch. She was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, skilled and took the time in all of our visits to really explain my surgery and all complications as well as respond to all my questions. My surgery went fantastic- she came in early to check in and respond to any concerns I had, spoke to my family right after and then came into to speak to me as soon as I was alert. My surgery outcomes couldn't have been better with no complications and my incision site looks amazing. I would 100% go back to her if I ever needed surgery again in the future.

She is a top notch surgeon and doctor!
I had Thyroid surgery with Dr Rescinit 12 years ago and had a great experience. Then recently a very painful partial bowel obstruction which brought me to the ER. I should have been in Boston as I have a complicated case since & also have ovarian cancer. They could not get a room at MGH or Brigham for a couple of days so she took me under her wing and hoped I would not need surgery. I felt lucky to have such an experienced doctor. She visited daily sometime twice and always seem to know the correct test to order. Very experienced, smart and caring. I had a great experience with her. Highly recommend.

Downright cruel
I was referred to Dr. Resciniti for hernia repair. She was the most disrespectful and cruel healthcare provider I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. She thankfully was honest that she wasn't quite sure how to approach my procedure, and by doing that she solidified my choice to seek care with another provider. I would never trust her to operate on me if she can't even be respectful when speaking with me.

Where do I start. She cost me 2 months of my life grieving, waiting due to her incorrect cancer prediction of 80%. After that she insisted on an impromptu breast exam in her office saying she" found things ultrasound missed". I was devestated after her "talk" detailing the breast cancer she thought I had (including her drawings based on my scan). I got the impression she was actually disappointed she did not find anything after examination ( she is a surgeon and NOT qualified to make these diagnoses). I am not accusing her of being a bad person but question her bedside manner, intention and qualifications. Best served to check in with a more grounded provider. Beware. Some Hippa violations occurred too. I honestly could go further. Dr Resciniti I hope you read this and stick to your surgical skills ONLY. Leave the actual interpetations to those qualified, you are not a medical god or qualified. You destroyed 2 months of my life. Be kind and qualified please.

As a health care professional , I was seeking a surgeon who was trustworthy , well educated, and honest. I found this in Dr Andrea Resciniti. Dr Resciniti is very knowledgeable, thorough, direct and caring. She was my surgeon , when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer , and throughout my treatment. . At all times, she made me feel as if I were her only patient , including personally calling me before surgery in the morning, or early evening, with test results. She is aware of all the latest and best treatment available , and explained each one in detail. Her office staff is also very personable , and will answer any questions you may have , and preschedule all of your tests and consults. I recovered from my surgery without any complications, and returned to work as expected. Overall , she made a very frightening time for me , much less traumatic ! I would highly recommend her to anyone who is seeking the most excellent care available !

Bedside manor and compassion, while not technically essential for doctors, is still a pretty basic function that she is very clearly is unable to perform. In addition to her awful personality, she is narrow minded to the detriment and danger of others. She tried to physically rip out one of my piercings (that were not able to be removed by pulling, which I would have explained to her if she’d just listened) to the point of bleeding before I could explain they were safe to leave in.

Dr. Resciniti is an extremely talented surgeon and a caring person. She clearly explained the medical options available to me after a challenging diagnosis. Her office team coordinated my care with exceptional efficiency, professionalism and kindness. Twice Dr. Resciniti took the time out of her schedule to advocate for me when I encountered minor obstacles with medical systems (i.e. an external pharmacy). I give her and her staff 5 stars!

I did not know if I was in a veterinarian office or doctors office cat wandering around the exam rooms. And do not expect any bed side manner did not explain procedure just barged ahead. I think she should revisit professionalism and patient compassion. Will not be back

I had gall bladder surgery this past weekend, and I can recommend Dr. Resciniti very highly. She has an un-surgeon-like demeanor, and that's a good thing. She was very friendly and forthright during consultations, but also enormously communicative. She showed up when she said she'd show up, she did what she said she'd do, she warned about complications in an appropriate way. The surgery went according to plan, and I'm not experiencing much pain 48 hours later.
