Bedside manner is non existent. Dismissive. Rude. Talks over everyone. Cuts you off. Condescending. Doesn't follow through. Doesn't have a clue about end of life pain management. Sad our veterans are treated this way.

Negative 1000
This lady has some nerve being on the bereavement team at the VA hospital when she doesn’t know the first thing about supporting families. Said that my father wanted to go home and die which was a lie. She made an already horrific situation that much worse.

Excellent diagnostician. I had stage 4 non Hodgkin's lymphoma 5 years ago. Dr Ruskin treated me with systemic and intrathecal chemotherapy. She then arranged for a stem cell transplant for me at Yale. Thanks to her I am alive and well today. She is intelligent, empathetic, and readily available.

very bad experience. She doesn't communicate well and rushes you out of her office. Terrible with follow up calls to me and primary doctors.

I've been sick for a year and a half with dizziness, headaches, bouts of confusion, memory loss, ear pain, nerve pain, numbness, burning itchy skin, and I had preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. I've been tested for autoimmune except Hughes so my PCP referred me to Dr. Ruskin. She was dismissive, curt, and unfeeling. She told me my symptoms were not specific enough to be referred to her. She didn't even exam me! She ordered a CBC which my PCP did. If I have Hughes, do I get my money back? .
