Worst experience
Today was my 1st appointment with this doctor. When she walked in she said "how can I help you" in the most rude way. She made me feel like a begger. She was extremely rude and dismissive. I actually felt worst after leaving her office. I wish I would have looked at her reviews rbefore visiting. @prohealth, you need to do better. This doctor has 80% 1 Star reviews with the same complaints. Everyone can't be lying. H

Last week I had THE MOST HORRENDOUS medical experience with Dr Andrea Sachnoff. She was nasty, aggressive and completely dismissive after waiting ONE HOUR for results. Her DEAD WRONG DIAGNOSIS, that I had a deteriorated lining of my colon due to the overuse of a drug called Seneca found in laxatives, created nothing but PANIC and ANXIETY. After dropping the bomb, I said:”I do not take any laxatives, what could this be from?” She responded:”Let’s cross that bridge when we get to it. Let’s wait and see what the biopsy says, I could be wrong, I have been wrong before.” HUH??? I went home, called my pc immediately to tell her I want nothing to do with Andrea Sachnoff, and please call me with the results. 6 very long days later, the results came back. The “ so called deterioration”was probably a reaction to the prep drug Clenpiq which I took for my colonoscopy!! How does a gastroenterologist remain practicing with this UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR? A quote from a review: “RUN AWAY.”

I just scheduled my 2nd colonoscopy with Dr. Sacknoff. My first impression of her was that she was a bit cold- but attentive and professional. Upon my second (and all other visits), she was warm and friendly and again- knowledgeable and professional. She has always given me the opportunity to ask questions- and is thorough and understanding in her response. Any/all procedures have been handled with ease and relatively stress-free.

I really like and trust Dr Sacknoff. She's been my gastro Doc since the late 90's and wouldn't think of using anyone else. I always recommend her.

Weeks after colonoscopy with another doctor, I started to feel really ill. I tried making an appointment to see that doctor, or talk with him, but couldn't get through. By last Friday I was desperately ill. I got an appointment with Dr. Sacknoff and she immediately took bloods, started me on antibiotics, and sent me for ct, which revealed a severe infection. She called everyday, even over the weekend to check up on me. She is smart, responsible, competent. Highly recommended.
