Lack of basic manners
Dr. Wolff was the emergency room doctor on duty at Chandler Regional. She is smart. The emergency room runs efficiently. The nursing and other ER staff are exceptionally helpful and kind. However, Dr. Wolff lacks basic patient communication skills. I was coherent and alert but Dr. Wolff did not introduce herself as the doctor to my partner or me at any point. She did not explain what she was doing or why-essentially ignoring the patient. She was curt and annoyed when we asked questions and walked out without answering them. When she did speak to us, she was condescending and dismissive. A nurse came in to explain who she was and what we needed to do. I appreciate the need to be efficient in the ER. However, Dr. Wolff's behavior was not a consequence of the setting but a lack of basic patient respect. Dr. Wolff should not work in an environment where she must communicate with patients until she learns to respect them. Her behavior degrades the quality of an otherwise excellent ER.

My Mom in law was admitted w possible GI bleed. Dr.. Wolff was more worried about shoving a second Covid shot on her. When my Mother in law tried to explain why she did not want the second shot, Dr Wolff became belligerent with her and said "I'm not going to argue with you". WTH? You're dealing with a woman whose children dropped her off, has no one to advocate for her and is scared about her physical health and you're more worried about a second shot? Why are you not worried about her GI Bleed? This idiot has Zero bedside manner. I don't care what God Complex you may have as a ER DR, but you do not treat a 78 year old woman like that! Its absolutely none of your damn business about weather she wants a second covid shot!!!!! Dr Wolff obviously has a hidden agenda and has forgotten how to truly LISTEN to her patients!
