Dr Revelis and staff review
Dr. Revelis has been helping me for years giving me back injections and shoulder injections. When he recently moved to another location I moved to that location as well and actually have been more satisfied as Dr. Revelis and his assistant both are very good in explaining the procedures answering any quesions I have. I appreciate that he and staff show concern and ability to help and know what to do. I have no complaints.

He’s ok but his staff sucks
He doesn’t spend much time, quick to come and go from the visit but does a good job on his procedures. He leaves your routine care to his hateful nurses/staff who should not be working with people at all. they all hate their career choices and working with pain management patients. Then there’s the billing department. They fraudulently billed for visits that never happened and were very rude when you only want to pay your copay and not their made up numbers that rarely match the insurance statement. They need audited on a mass scale by CMS. And the list can go on and on but I’m running out of space

Dr. Revelis has been a great help!
I have been going to Dr. Revelis for years. I have degenerative disc's in my neck. I get injections to help with the pain around my spine. He has always been helpful and either he or his staff answered all of my questions. I had surgery and started having issues again and he explained exactly what was happening. I would highly recommend him.

All About the Money
Dr Revelis had been helping me for few years with injections to my knees & back. At the end of 2020 or beginning of 2021, my referral was denied from Cherokee Nation Health system, I tried for several months to appeal and in the meantime I was getting worse and worse. The pain from rheumatoid arthritis and Osteoarthrosis were inflamed through out my body. Julie, helped me get a consult appointment with Dr Revelis, because too much time had passed to just pick up where we left off. The consultation, Dr Revelis came in the room and I told him “ I’m sure glad to see you”! Well, he didn’t feel the same. He said, he couldn’t help me any longer. I asked why, he said the Cherokee nation doesn’t pay enough for my services. I told him that isn’t my fault. You have helped me in the past. He said, not anymore, most of my colleagues have already stopped taking patients from the CNHC. He stood up and said, I can’t help you! Talk about rude! I went to my car and cried!

This is my 3rd visit. Got injections. First round didn’t last as long as I had hoped but the second round definitely helped. I’m recovering from my 3rd round. The staff is very helpful. The nursing staff friendly. Dr Revelis is patient and friendly and explains the procedures. I’ve been to 2 other pain management doctors who only wanted to push drugs on me. It’s caused issues with my kidney function. The injections are working so I’m so far happy with my results.

I've waited even longer to comment, but this just needs saying. I had the injection in my shoulder 2 days short of two (2) WEEKS ago. The shoulder pain is the same as before the injection. Over the first week, I called several times. I got one call back after the clinic closed. More calls, finally, an appointment. I get to the appointment, no Dr. Revelis. I have been what the youngsters call "ghosted" by this doctor. Never a call back then no show at appointment. Things have worsened because the pain is such that I have to hold my arm in one position, now muscles to my neck, etc., tied in knots. The nurse was at the appointment and said there was nothing to do. I said "suffer?", shoulder shrug. I was trying the avoid the surgery, now surgery is looking so good! BTW, I've had this injection twice before by other docs, a day or two of discomfort, then no more discomfort for months!!!

The nurses didn’t explain what was going to happen before, or after, I got no aftercare or what to expect just another appointment date. I went to sleep on the OR with 1 IV and woke up with 3 IV puncture wounds. When I asked the nurse if I woke up she said oh no you were out. So other than bandaids, a stiff neck and what I’m sure is a fatty bill im not sure what all happened.

Dr Revelis, his nurses and anesthesiologist did my first injection today and they were all so kind and optimistic and took excellent care of me. I felt very comfortable and confident in their care. Dr Revelis is passionate about making people feel better and treating their pain.

I highly recommend Dr. Revelis and his office staff for pain management. Dr. Revelis spent time with me prior the procedure and was very thorough explaining what would happen. His office staff was amazing and provided excellent care. The documents that you have to complete as a first patient was a little overwhelming so allow enough time prior to your scheduled appointment.

I do NOT recommend Tulsa Pain and Dr Revelis. As a healthcare professional, I have encountered many rude and hateful employees from desk staff all the way up the Misty, the manager. It feels like the team functions on their own and do not even contact him when a patient requests it. On one occassion, I watched 3 office workers be rude and hateful to another patient and one of them even assaulted him. I reported this to Dr Revelis and nothing has changed. The worst care with no relief ever!!

I am a good decent man who has NO criminal record & I am respected in my community. No other doctor has offended me like he has. I receive the lowest form of pain medication and had been on a dose for 5 years and needed an increase. When I asked for this he asked me to take a drug test which I passed & always for over 10 years. He recently took me $300 for a UA ins. would not pay. He snuck in a form letting him do this that I did not realize. He cares about money & not the patient. Buyer beware

I've been treated for chronic lower back pain by Tulsa Pain Consultants for several years and I've seen Dr. Reveals exactly 5 times. I have appointments every two or three months, and they are 5 minutes visits with a PA. Everyone i deal with, from the clinical staff that handles refills to the appointment and desk staff, is cold almost to the point of rudeness. The only person who is polite is the billing clerk when I pay for services. It is obvious that patients are not the priority.

Long Time Patient in Tulsa, OK – Jun 01, 2017
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Revelis?
I would never recommend Dr. Revelis because after going to him for over a year and receiving only injections, none of which alleviated any of my pain and learning that he often gave up to 70 injections a day, I came to believe that he was more interested in creating income for himself through his injections than he was in curing my pain.

Dr. Revelis and everyone at Tulsa Pain Consultants could not be better. Dr. Revelis has done a wonder in getting me relief from chronic back pain due to sciatica. And it does not involve taking opiods on a daily basis. I am very grateful to him and his entire team for the great care I've received for over a year.
