Refused to treat patient
Very unprofessional doctor. He refused to treat me simply because I voiced my concern on how he wasn't washing his hands or using gloves , was grabbing objects from the floor when preparing for a procedure that involved needles. Dr. Jacobo got so upset and called me difficult because of this and says he has the right to choose which patients he wants to treat.Imagine having an appointment scheduled days before , showing up to the appointment, and waiting nearly an hour just for the doctor to refuse to treat you over something that was so simple to fix!

I am a winter resident in Yuma. In 2016 I had brain surgery in Spokane, WA. I needed a neurologist in Yuma to follow me for that. I chose Dr. Jacobo. He is caring, thorough, and helped me with some side effects that were caused by the brain tumor removal. I highly recommend this wonderful doctor.

My symptoms were so odd and unusual that most docs concluded it was psychosomatic. Dr Jacobo was convinced my complaints were real. After reviewing my scans, he discovered something unusual. He suspected Superior Semicircular Canal Dehiscence Syndrome. He referred me to a Dr in San Diego. He was right. While he can't treat me, he was astute enough to recognize the symptoms and correctly diagnose this extremely rare condition. My SD doc say Dr Jacobo is one of best diagnosticians he knows.
