Wow. I thought I was over reacting about my visits with him until I saw these reviews. I concur hevus not the best at patient treatment or respect. He seems that you are bothering him, doesn't hesitate to allow his body language to show he doesn't give a darn. I've seem him 3 times the first he seemed attentive and interested as a new patient. 2nd visit last week he showed me he was disinterested by his body language and looking up and away. Today 7/13 he expressed verbally that I was a bother as evidenced when he frustratingly told me after my first hyperbaric treatment that he could only do a quick dressing change on me. I was told he would see me before treatment then after treatment. I was concerned due to new physical developments since I had last seen him. I refuse to kiss these doctors behinds He is horrible

Dr. Applewhite is completely unprofessional and has terrible bedside manner. He did not show me any concern for my issue and lectured me on other unrelated health issues that I was not seeing him for. At one point, he was looking at my wound and then pressed on the area without letting me know he was doing so before. The area was extremely sensitive and I yelled in pain and began crying and he did not even look at me or say anything to me about the pain or give any explanation why he was pressing on the area. He only spent about three minutes with me in each of my appointments and rarely made eye contact. When I asked what I could do to help my wound, he said to stop drinking so much water and use the restroom more, which is not only not possible but not accurate information to suggest. I would never recommend him to anyone.

I would never recommend this doctor if you like to have any input in your care. He looks at your wound, makes his recommendation and is not interested in any previous care you may have received.
