Dr. Andrew Braziel, MD

Referred to Dr Braziel as a patient at BBJI requiring evaluation for hip pain. Able to schedule a consultation in a timely manner. Dr Braziel was caring and supportive who explained my hip condition that required joint replacement. I was given clear concise information, all questions answered regarding the operation from start to finish. Surgical date was scheduled at that time and I was given a binder that included all the pertinent information.My surgery was performed by Dr Braziel at NEBH Surgical Center in Dedham. Every staff member was excellent, showing care and concern with complete focus on my well being. The whole team approach was 5 stars. Dr Braziel met me before surgery to review any questions and to verify procedure.For any future orthopedic surgery I would definitely see Dr Braziel.

I had both knees replaced by Dr. Braziel. Just 4 months following the second knee, done 7 months after the first, I was back to playing tennis. I believe he did a very good job.When seeing him for an in office check up, they are thorough tho sometimes rushed a bit as the wait time for him is usually one hour, and on one occasion it was 2.5 hours!!! Nonetheless, he is a great and caring orthopedist, and I’d highly recommend him.

Had my hip replaced on December 12-12-2024 with Dr Braziel. He also did one of knees in 2022. I can’t say enough about him! Great bed side manner, phenomenal surgeon! He cares a great deal about his patients. He also takes his time to answer any questions. Highly recommended him!

Dr. Braziel saw me between surgeries since he would be on vacation the following week. He goes above and beyond. He does whatever it takes to find a solution to the problem with my hip and will not give up. He is not afraid to say I need to work further to come up with the best solution. He does not rush you in appointments. He is so knowledgeable and puts you at ease.

Dr Braziel just did a left total knee arthroplastt on me. He has excellent bedside manner and takes the time to explain things in depth so you are very comfortable before the procedure. He listens to your concerns and takes them into account in his surgical plan. He was unable to see me the night of surgery so he called me at home the following day to be sure I was on track with my pain management and exercise plan. He acknowledges this procedure is painful and you should take the pain meds to control the pain and use ice to reduce swelling. He is very reassuring that you will do great with rehab. I highly recommend dr. Braziel!

Both my wife and myself have had total knee replacements with Dr. Braziel. We couldn't be happier with the outcomes. He never rushes us, in the office, or at the surgical center. We wouldn't go to anyone else. My scar has healed so well it looks like it's 4 years old instead of 4 months old!

I went to Dr. Braziel for a total hip replacement. I had consulted with other doctors and although great doctors the first consultation I had with Dr. Braziel I knew this was my surgeon. It took some time for me to be in position to get the surgery as I had to lose weight. He and his staff were very supportive in the 1yr leading up to being able to schedule the surgery. New England Baptist is known for their orthopedic work so it is no surprise how efficient everything is run. The real incredible part about the situation is not only are they very efficient, the bed side manner doesn't suffer at all. I am not usually a review person but I can't recommend Dr. Braziel and his staff enough. In addition to Dr. Braziel's tremendous professionalism and personable manner of care his office has also been all over the absurd paperwork hoops required by insurance companies and disability paperwork. Having been down this path before I can say the level of service was unmatched.

Dr. Braziel is an exceptional surgeon. I did my research and was VERY happy with my experience and outcome. Dr. Braziel was very thorough from consult to post surgery. He did the anterior approach total hip replacements on both of my hips. I absolutely recommend Dr. Braziel for a total hip replacement. Compared to many others I know that have had total hip replacements in Mass and NH, my recovery was much quicker, more comfortable and with no restrictions. I was back to work in 5 weeks. I believe my success was from the thorough education I was given prior to the surgery and following the treatment plan given. I am forever thankful for a painless new life.

I saw Dr. Braziel for a consultation for a total hip replacement (I had been to another orthopedic surgeon and wanted a second opinion). He was terrific -- took plenty of time to explain my condition (osteoarthritis of the hip), symptoms, x-ray results and how he felt my condition would be improved by a hip replacement. Personable, professional, knowledgeable and patient with my many questions. My surgery went off without a hitch -- Dr. Braziel came by to see me in the hospital before and after my surgery -- and I am so glad to have had the hip replacement.
