Best surgeon ever
Dr. Burleson performed surgery on my knee and I could not have had a better experience. Dr. Burleson and his staff were extremely competent and treated me with respect. Dr. Burleson is a fantastic surgeon with an even better bedside manner. I could not have dreamed of a better surgeon.

My appointment was rushed he was very dismissive I feel like he wasn’t taking me seriously maybe because I am younger? Big waste of my time. I had to ask the assistant more questions because he was in and out of the room so fast and when I asked about a knee brace she went to go talk to Dr Burmesin about it outside of the door and I could hear them clear as day laughing about definitely not needing a brace for the condition my knee is in. But how am I supposed to know that? I don’t even know what is wrong with my knee with the 30 seconds I spent with him in the room. I left crying, im sure the front desk saw me tearing up when I was scheduling my physical therapy. My experience makes me never want to go to the doctors again because they made me feel ridiculous for being there in the first place. Beacon orthopedics and sport medicine in miamisburg is not the place to be if you like practices with any sense of humanity. Big waste of my time considering I had to take off work for this.

Would never recommend this doctor! Had an appointment with Dr. Burleson last week for a hip labrum tear. I am a 58 year old female who is very physically active. Dr. Burleson was very dismissive and had no real solutions for the tear. I felt because I was a middle aged female, I was basically wasting his time. I have always been a fan of the Beacon Orthopedics and in fact would frequently recommend them to my student athletes. After this extremely negative and demeaning experience, I will be looking elsewhere for a more professional and experienced doctor. I believe Dr. Burleson has had very limited clinical experience with this medical issue (labrum tear) and instead of helping to steer my in the right direction for treatment, he chose to toss me aside.

Great physician with excellent bedside manner. I saw Dr. Burleson and thought he was efficient and still took time to answer all of my questions after I injured my knee playing with my dog.
