Dr. Andrew Check, MD

He was my doctor with my first child at 30 years old. During one of my appointments he made embarrassing comments that I was fat while my spouse was in the room. I lost weight during my pregnancy. Never have I had such a rude doctor. Ladies do your research and choose someone better. He needs to be ashamed of himself.

I was young when this guy delivered my kids and didn’t know any better. My kids delivered my grandkids with doctors that are so full of compassion. He needs to retire. He is a cold, uncaring person in general. Too many great obstetricians out there that will give you the great experience you deserve. I wish I could turn back time.

HORRIBLE. - office is out of date, they do not use computers or electronic filing, he never answered a single question I had regarding my symptoms or the pregnancy, when he did speak it was through his receptionist while hiding behind the office wall... And to top it off, I am 31 weeks pregnant and this man just terminated my baby and I as patients under his care, for reasons he did not share. I questioned him and he did not want to deal me.

Very Rude and unprofessional when dealing with high risk pregnancy both Dr. Check and assistant Amanda. If you want to be treated like a civilized human being I do not recommend anyone going here. He gives up easily when a challenge is involved. I wouldn't trust this doctor.

I have Had 2 children with Dr.Check and he was amazing. With my second child I had what is call Gestational Diabetes and he was very attentive and kind through out my entire pregnancy. I always felt as if i was hie first priority I would defiantly recommend him to anyone looking for a great OBGYN

Can this rating go higher than a 5? Dr Check is worth way more than 5 stars. Not only did he make me confident and comfortable, his staff did too. I love his thoroughness and how readily available he is. I am excited to have him deliver my next child.

I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. He lacks bedside manor and compassion. He is too busy for his patients I feel. This is my first pregnancy and after listening to him handle patients on the phone and talking in a condosending manor I was skeptical about keeping him. He had me go through unnecessary testing where ended up paying hundreds of dollars out of pocket because insurance did not cover. Happy I switched Doctors.

Dr. Check is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and funny if you take the time to chat with him. He takes one's birthing preferences into account, but he also will tell you straight-up what the potential limitations are with respect to accomplishing them. In the delivery room, Dr. Check really shines. He was efficient, authoritative with the nursing staff, but kind, supportive, and encouraging with me. I felt very confident that I was getting the best possible care. His bedside manner was excellent

dr check is a great doctor. he is a little dry but he knows what he is doing! he delievered my little boy and offered great care during my entire pregnancy. plus his office staff amanda is awesome. he will explain to you into detail on what needs to be done why and how if you open up and just ask. my experience with dr. check was a very positive one and if i were to ever get pregnant i would absolutely want dr check to delievery my child again.
