Dr. Ciarlone is a talented surgeon.
He listens to my concerns and questions and recommends non surgical approaches if appropriate. Dr. Ciarlone is also very respectful and thorough. He replaced my hip about 5 years ago. I am so glad to have found him. The procedure he used avoided cutting thorough muscles and reduced my recovery time.

Testimony for Dr. Andrew Ciarlone
I had two hip surgeries from Dr. Ciarlone, one in January of 2021, one in March of 2021. What I liked, 1) he's very respectful of your time from the 1st visit, doesn't waste a minute. 2) his staff is exceptionally well trained. 3) I had my surgeries 6-wks apart, I was in the surgery center at 6:30am both times, in surgery at 7:30am both times, woke up 10:00am both times, 10:30am walked out of the surgery center both time with a walker. Pain was minimal both times, I only took a pain killer 2 or 3 times after the 1st surgery, none after the second. 1st surgery walking without a cane or walker or gimp in 10-days, 2nd surgery, about a week. Over 1 year later, I can't tell that I ever had a hip issue, they are absolutely perfect. I feel like I'm 20yrs old in my hips and I have symmetry! I searched and interviewed surgeons for 4-yrs. When I found Dr. Andrew Ciarlone on the website and read that he was the 1st surgeon in Michigan to perform this style of surgery where you don't slic

I was very pleased with the outcome of my rotator cuff surgery performed in July 2020. I am now moving forward with an upcoming partial knee replacement surgery with Dr. Ciarlone, in July 2021. I am very hopeful for another successful procedure.

Post knee surgery and post rehab, still had a issues with knee with pain and pain behind knee, throughout calf muscles and hamsting. I tried CBD ointment, nsaid pain relievers, ice and heat therapy to eleviate the pain and muscle/ligament tightness. I had discussed this with Dr. Ciarlone on separate visits. He had administered shots in the knee for three consecutive weeks. He said that will help and shot medication should last a year. After two weeks, the pain and issues came back. I have more issues with my knee and entire leg, than prior to the surgery. This has been going on for over a year now. Just scheduled an appointment with a second orthopededic surgeon for an second opinion.

I called to receive a consult from Dr. Ciarlone regarding a ruptured acl and torn meniscus. I had the appointment with him, only to find out at the end of appointment that he does not perform acl repairs anymore. Information he knew before the appointment was held. On top of that, he took more x-rays when I brought x-rays and an mri to the appointment. All of which was stated on initial phone call to request the consult. Waste of time and money.

Easy to appoint, friendly office staff and very attentive doctor. Spent as much time as I needed explaining test results, my injury, treatment options, next steps, etc. Would definitely recommend to others in need of a good ortho.

I had a hip replaced by Dr. Ciarlone December 20,2019. The hip was very painful and non-functional before the surgery. I had a minimum incision (For a hip replacement) and my recovery went extremely well. Today I am fully functional and walking without any pain or difficulties. This doctor is a very likable, professional, trustworthy, talented surgeon. His skills impressed me, along with his knowledge. I highly recommend him and I would refer friends & family to him. Point blank: I am healthier due to this Doctor

I had Dr. Ciarlone perform shoulder surgery back in 2015. It was torn up pretty good to where he had to put in five anchors to reattach everything. He was very thorough going through the processes before electing to do the surgery. Today it is the year 2018 and the shoulder is working better than I would have expected considering the amount of damage that I had done to it. In the future I will contact Dr. Ciarlone for my other shoulder when needed. I won't consider anyone else.
