My first ENT visit
It was my first visit to an ENT, after having nose andbreathing issues for years. He had first appt available in the practice so I took it. After examination his diagnosis was that my nose was a 'structural mess' and needed surgery. I had to keep asking questions to understand what a 'structural mess' was and what type of surgery I needed... will not be back...

Tried and failed to place a "button" to close my septum (I've had deviated septum surgery 2X over many years). I allowed him and intern to repeatedly try to complete (b/c of intern), but after an hour of painful attempts and much bleeding, he and I looked at each other and agreed "we're done". He apologized profusely, and said, "I expect I won't see you again." I agreed.

Disappointed in this practice
Dr. Doolittle seemed like a pleasant man but I just couldn't make it work with this practice. The office is run too much like a corporate assembly line. The physicians don't pay for adequate administrative support. Simple things like making an appointment or trying to get a prescription filled are very difficult - it's hard to penetrate the automated phone system to reach a human. Getting a prescription refill takes 1 to 2 weeks and several phone calls. And when you do reach people, they've got plenty of attitude and poor customer service skills. Also, unless you're receiving immunotherapy treatment (injections or sublingual) they won't see you as an allergy patient at all. I've been followed by allergists since childhood for chronic allergies and asthma. It feels strange to be refused service but it follows along with the factory-like nature of ENT Consultants.

I walked into his office worth chronic sinus infections. With his X-ray vision I was told I'd need surgery. I was given a very unpleasant scope and wasn't treated very friendly. His staff was very nice but he was not personable at all
