Dr. Andrew Erwteman, MD

Dr. Erwteman was very patient and listened carefully to my health concerns. He offered a very well thought out plan to treat my shoulder condition.

Dr. Erwteman performed an ACL allograft surgery on my knee one year ago. He took time to explain everything thoroughly. From the nurses to the assistants in surgery center, everyone affirmed that this Dr was skillful, thorough and wonderful to work with. Rehab takes time and lots of PT work but I’m grateful with the counsel received from Dr Erwteman on how best to repair. At 64, I’m out biking and hiking and free from pain.

Dr. Erwteman is intelligent, friendly, knowledgeable, punctual and very professional. The office staff is the most efficient medical group that I have ever dealt with. So far, I have nothing but positive things to say. I am having surgery in a month and hopefully my opinion will not change

Dr Erwteman was amazing, always keeping us aware by calling us giving us all updates, progress, details & everything taking place with my Mom. Communication was key and he far succeeded in that area. Care of my Mom, surgery, recovery and follow-ups was outstanding. Thank you Dr Erwteman! Dr Erwteman's staff and Medical Assistant Sarah, awesome & helpful. Anything we needed she/they took care of. AMAZING! I have had chronic shoulder issues. I got my AC Joint cleaned out, as well as my shoulder. No tissue work done. I was doing push-ups within 4 days post-op, and back in the gym (lightly) after 2 weeks. He was also able to diagnose my degenerative disc disease that others had simply brushed off as muscle soreness in my lower neck. I have recommended several people including an ex-NFL player and all have loved his care. Would highly recommend to anyone in pain.

This operation has no consideration for another's health but more worried about themselves. They must of told me 5 times the cost and oh you better have the money. Hey listen up you knuckleheads at 63 and successful in multiple business I clearly have enough to cover your $150.00. Are you serious ?. Jan waited over a month to say: Oh well we take disability insurance serious to suggest without any foundation of the pain I'm in and being of service in health care. So without and concern or care for the pain I'm in she cancels my appointment and just to much trouble to email a referral and act's she's a boss. Put your ego away lady. She only have to review the MRI and seen a torn roto cuff which is very painful and limits my movement to the degree a cannot perform my job description. Further more that is not her call, It's the Doctor but maybe he should direct his staff with better public relations. Brian D. Bolton

A fall disabled me and I damaged both shoulders. Being warned to not have a shoulder arthroplasty I was leery and a bit frightened. Dr. Erwteman was a pleasure to speak with. He explained what was involved and listened to all of our concerns. He even explained the procedure the day prior to surgery.. My recovery has gone very well and I am looking forward to having my other shoulder repaired by Doctor Erwteman SUN CITY, CA

Dr. Erwteman is an expert orthopedic surgeon. His standard of professionalism is noteworthy. He performed an outstanding surgical procedure to reconnect my right distal bicep tendon rupture. I highly recommend Dr. Erwteman.

Dr. Erwteman helped me on so many levels. He cured the pain in my hand/ wrist after being in pain for 8 months. He listened to my concerns and took the necessary time. He gave me a cortisone shot that really hurt and I felt it made it worse until it didn't. I have not had ANY pain in the hand for a few weeks now. What a relief. Although the med he prescribed was a disaster with the RX ( someone circled the wrong one in the fax) it wasn't his fault. This man is the best in my estimation.

On the recommendation of a friend and many doctors later, I’m so happy that I’m finally pain free after seeing Dr. Erwteman. I was dealing with chronic knee pain and pretty much lost all hope until now. Dr. Erwteman was very caring and answered all my many questions. He explained in detail what needed to be done. After my surgery and few months down the line, I’m able to do my daily activities with no pain anymore. Thank you Dr. Erwteman. Highly recommend to my family and friends.

I tore my rotator cuff in a painful injury and feared I’d never have anything close to the level of function I enjoyed before the injury. Dr. Erwteman did a great job on my surgery and was available before and after my procedure for questions. Would def recommend to family and friends.

Highly professional with great bedside manner. He sat down and listened to all my concerns, putting me at ease with his expertise. Most importantly, he made it clear he understood my main concern. Can't recommend enough.

The office staff, specifically whoever handles referral approvals was rude and unapologetic. Acted like I was inconveniencing her by checking on my denied referral after 6 weeks, if they would have just resubmitted to what mri place wanted could have already made appointment. She never apologized and had the attitude of we are right, not compromising and I should just wait, not call. Yeah meanwhile this tumor cyst thing in my hand is getting larger but you do your power trip. Dr was fine.
