Dr. Andrew Frankel, MD

I cannot recommend Dr. Frankel and his team at The Lasky Clinic enough. I can't even put into words how thankful I am for Dr. Frankel's expertise and most importantly, kindness.After extensive research, I was referred to Dr. Frankel (even by my friends in the medical field in Los Angeles) for my revision rhinoplasty surgery. He is the best of the best. Dr. Frankel is double board certified ENT and plastic surgery - something I was definitely looking for in my surgeon. Upon meeting Dr. Frankel in person, he was present, attentive and kind. I truly felt like he was listening to my concerns and my goals with my revision rhinoplasty. Dr. Frankel immediately made me feel heard and safe and was patient and empathetic when hearing about my previous experiences.

Dr Frankels patients look good in his pictures because he is a lighting specialist. Do not be fooled. I even looked good in his lighting post op and he had left me with a hideous open roof. Basically a huge lump on my bridge. At my final visit before surgery, Dr Frankel had trouble opening the sliding door, stumbled in and almost fell! His movements were uncontrolled, he was speaking slowly, and his eyes looked strange. I could not believe what was happening and I would lose all my money if I canceled.

I had nasal surgery with Frankel and the results were devastating. Despite his promises that he could achieve results that would reflect the morphs he created on his computer screen, the outcome could not have been more different, or horrendous. Please be warned, there are dozens of very unhappy clients living a life of seclusion after surgery with Frankel.

Dr. Frankel is a very caring, supportive, and knowledgeable surgeon. He took the time to explain my case in detail and made sure I could understand the procedure. I felt comfortable asking questions and they were answered in detail. The surgery went very smoothly and I had a very easy recovery. The post-operative instructions were very helpful and eased the pain.

Dr. Frankel is the most precise, informed, caring, and conservative doctor and plastic surgeon I've ever worked with. I trust him and no one else. He's very fair in his pricing, very generous with his time, and a perfectionist in his craft. His bedside manner is warm, and he feels like an old family friend. There's much trust that is felt in his care.

PLEASE READ Thoroughly BEFORE you schedule a VISIT. I can't even begin to express my dissatisfaction, disbelief and DISSAPOINTMENT with Dr. Frankel, his practice and assistant Vicki. My wife went in for a Septoplasty surgery 13 months ago in which Dr. Frankel charged $12,000 AND took it upon himself to ADD cartilage to the TIP of her nose and has left her nose CROOKED. My wife has been despondent and expressing concerns for the entire year, she went in for her 6 month visit expressing those concerns and she was told the swelling would continue to go down and everything would look JUST as she hoped (although she NEVER requested cartilage to be ADDED to the tip of her nose) At the 6 month appointment they took several photos, ASSURED her the tip of her nose would turn up and swelling would go down and then MADE my wife call and do a RECORDED message stating she was "pleased with the surgery at this stage"!! Dr. Frankel made me feel very comfortable from the start. He is personable and charismatic. I was born with a cleft lip that had been operated on 7 times already. He truly cared about the aesthetic outcome as well as functionality because both were important to me. We discussed lots of treatment options to correct my deviated septum and asymmetry. We also corrected parts of my lip that were affected by the cleft. He changed the way I look at myself. My self-confidence was very low before I came to him, and now I feel like I look as beautiful as anyone else.
