Dr. Gordon had an amazing bedside manner & is an all-around great guy & extremely knowledgeable doctor. My husband had robotic-assisted hernia surgery and Dr. Gordon did a phenomenal job. He comes out himself and discusses the surgery with you. We are very happy to have him as a doctor. Look no further, this is your guy.

Very impressed through entire process from pre surgery consult to post surgery follow up. Dr. Gordon explained process, procedure, and post operative care completely and answered all questions tendered. Office Staff was very professional while also displaying compassion and a personal touch. It is very clear that this Team really cares about their patients.

Excellent, listens and offers options

Dr. Gordon is awesome and just did an amazing job. I do not like hospitals and not that crazy about DOCTORS. I was told I have a HERNIA and noticed it getting out of the shower. EVERYTHING was explained in detail and just amazed how all was explained to me. Went for 2 week check up and all great. I knew it would be but Dr. Gordon still explained what to expect over the next several weeks. My wife looked at reviews from other Hernia doctors and they were NOT good. Cancelled the first one for said Dr. was late for operation. I am very honest and this Dr. is GREAT!!!!!!!

Dr. Gordon is a highly professional, skilled, and knowledgeable surgeon. He performed robotic surgery on my bilateral inguinal hernias. This was my first surgery so I was quite nervous and felt anxious. Dr. Gordon put me at ease. He explained the procedure, provided me the confidence to move forward, and he was straight forward and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Gordon and the entire team. The whole team from the front office at Northern Virginia Surgical, to the coordination with INOVA Haymarket Hospital, everything ran smoothly, professionally, caring and timely. Great skills and I am completely thankful for his talents, knowledge and kindness.

I was referred to Dr. Gordon because I have gallstones. He was very thorough in explaining everything about my condition, the options available, and the surgical procedure. The appointment was not over until he was satisfied that I understood everything and had no more questions. It's nice to see a doctor who really listens and isn't in a big hurry to get to the next patient!

Dr Gordon is terrific. The office was able to schedule my first visit quickly after being diagnosed with gall bladder stones. Dr Gordon examined the results of an ultrasound, explained them thoroughly, and advised that I should have the gall bladder removed. Surgery was performed flawlessly and my recovery was rapid. At the post-op visit, Dr Gordon shared and explained results from the pathology results and examined the incisions sites with care. I highly recommend Dr Gordon and the staff at Northern Virginia Surgical Specialists and the Haymarket Surgery Center.

He was very understanding and patient and actually listened to what I had to say even though I was in pain the whole time, I'm a little nervous waiting to find out if I have to have my gallbladder removed or not, but I know I will be in good hands either way
