Dr. Hammer seemed happy to answer my questions about cataract surgery and other eye conditions--thorougly, with a smile. My retina specialist referred me to him. I also liked the staff at the Palisades Surgical Eye Center where Dr. Hammer does procedures. That place was extremely busy but the staff were very kind and helpful.

Exceptional Experience
Dr Hammer and his team made my challenging decision re cataract surgery so easy in every aspect. They provided me with the specific details (from lenses to financing) I needed to know about my unique case and guided me expertly and efficiently through the process of two surgeries. I especially appreciated their willingness to listen to and address my concerns so the experience was totally positive. I am thrilled with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Hammer if you are looking for expert eye surgeon.

Terrific doctor and practice
Dr. Hammond was excellent at explaining my diagnosis and how to treat it! He patiently answered my questions and offered sound recommendations. All the members of his practice were very professional and courteous too.
