Dr. Andrew Herbst, MD

I had Mohs surgery on my cheek three months ago with Dr Herbst. You can barely see the mark now I was very nervous but he really did an incredible job keeping me calm. I saw one other doctor in consultation but could not be happier I chose Dr Herbst

I was referred to Dr Herbst after having a biopsy. I also got an approval from my PCP, that Dr Herbst is the physician to see. Dr Herbst is a particular, precise and exacting person when it comes to wound management. I don't recommend physicians, lawyers or building contractors etc. as a general rule. Dr Herbst is the 1st physician that I am recommending in my 72 years.

I saw Dr. Herbst for a skin cancer four months ago. It took three hours to get it all out. I had a very large hole on my nose after he was done and he put in 37 stitches. I thought it was never going to heal but now you can barely see it. I highly recommend him and trust him and his very nice staff.

This doctor is rude, a lousy surgeon, left me with a big scar on my face, chews gum while he talks to you, actually is not interested in what you say, but more involved with what he wants to say, including excuses. Would give him a 0 for manners, and a bad note for work done! His staff is indifferent and must be used to people complaining. Find someone else, I had not done enough thorough checking-

His office is very busy but he did a great job stitching me and even called after the procedure

Dr. Herbst is the best!. His office staff are most welcoming and accommodating Together they made a difficult situation into that which anyone can handle. I greatly appreciated the Drs. phone call to me the evening of the surgery. Rev. James P. Marshall

I would not recommend Dr. Herbst for Mohs surgery. I was left with an extra large scar on my arm for a pre-cancerous mole removal. It was the size of a ladybug and I was left with a 1.25" scar that remained red for over a year. The stitching was sloppy and not what it should have been. And, they were embedded so it hurt when he removed them. He said he was pleased with the result; whereas, I immediately told him that I was surprised and very unhappy with large uneven scar from the procedure.

Performed Mohs surgical procedure for verified BCC. Truly professional manner including all staff members. Dr. Herbst even contacted me via phone on the evening following surgery to make sure that everything was O.K.
