Dr. Andrew Kwa, MD

I recommend Dr. Kwa for serious, competitive athletes. Our hearts are just different, and he has experience with pro-athletes, and understands that our heart's chambers are bigger, and normally pump slower, etc. After going through serious complications in my pregnancy, and having many others recommend heart surgery to treat pregnancy induced A-fib, he got me through it with a few medications that last a couple of months. I no longer need anything, and I am glad I did not listen to all of the other doctors who just wanted to cut me open.

Dr. Kwa is a moody disrespectful person. He may be good at surgery I would not no but he was not a good understanding or caring doctor to me.

Dr. Kwa put a stent to treat my father’s heart attack. He gave a very clear diagnosis and was very effective. His evidence based explanation and confidence made my father very comfortable with the treatment plan and operation. My father was happy with the results and quick recovery.

I'm alive today because of Dr. Kwa's skill as a surgeon. Dr. Kwa has a genuinely kind and caring nature, he came in on his day off to check on me, he made sure I had enough meds to carry me over to a pharmacy. 5 stars seems so inadequate to express my appreciation for Dr. Kwa.
