Dr. Andrew Lerman, MD

I sat in this Drs. waiting room for 2 hours and 12 minutes. They must have asked me five times if my insurance changed. However when I asked them why I waited for over two hours they seemed to be confused. I treat everyone with respect and expect to be treated the same. If you want to be disrespected waste your time and money this is the place to go.

I have a complex set of conditions. Dr. Lerman took his time to go through each one. He did a thorough clinical exam, patiently answered my questions and gave me a new treatment plan. He inspired confidence. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Definitely 5 star.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Lerman for many years, and he is the best in our opinion. He is very knowledgeable, informative, listens and cares for his patients, and most of all he has helped my husband manage his Parkinson's beautifully. We also have had very good experienced with his staff and nurse practitioner.

I was referred to Dr Lerman for a second opinion on an auto immune disorder, Dr Lerman was very thorough with his examination and follow up tests. Dr Lerman is a very professional and explains what actions are to be taken in details, he listens to the patient and then if more tests are needed he prescribes them. I found Dr Lerman to be very knowledgeable and very caring towards his patients, I highly recommend Dr Lerman and his staff for professional help. B.Penichet.

I saw Dr. Lerman in my first visit and he was amazing. However, after that, they always put me with a Nurse Practitioner, who is nice but his knowledge on Neurologist was extremely law. My husband requested an appointment directly with the doctor, and they still scheduled him with the Nurse. Only because I recognized him we knew he was not the neurologist.Actually, they put most of the patients with the Nurse and don't tell the patients that the person who will see them not only isn't an specialist, but not even a Doctor in US. I think this is very disrespectful. Make sure you will see a board certified neurologist,Dr. Lerman, (who is excellent) if you choose this office.

Dr. Lerman is a fine doctor but I wonder if he is too insulated from the business aspect of his practice to notice how his staff treat patients. If you look at the reviews he has in other sites, you can read that people like Dr. Lerman but not his staff. They don't appreciate the manner in which the office is run and the way the staff conducts themselves. It is not worth it for me to have to navigate through his staff in order to see him.

Dr. Andrew Lerman is an amazing doctor and person! He took one of the scariest moments of my life and made sense of it for me. He brought me to a sense of comfort about it all. He is an absolute genius in my eyes and his knowledge is second to none. He has a patient for life in me and I will recommend him to everyone I know. Him and his staff are second to none.

I have been going to Dr. Lerman's office for a couple of years. Dr. Lerman is a very caring and attentive doctor. He listens and spends the time that is needed to make a patient feel comfortable and well cared for. His staff is awesome too and always willing to help and answer any questions.

I suffer with the worst type of migraine headaches imaginable, I have terrible migraine headaches at least 25 days out of every month. I chose Dr Lerman not only because of his excellent credentials but also because, as a migraine sufferer himself, he understands what people like myself go through on a daily basis. This is the BEST decision I could have made! Dr Lerman is so amazing and I mean that. He is personable, knowledgeable, warm, he listened and he gave me the confidence that my migraine issues are solvable. He put me on a treatment plan and I have not had one of these very very nasty migraine headaches since!! I do not expect the headaches to go away overnight BUT, I am seeing progress! In another couple of months we will review the current treatment plan and take it from there. He also gave me some samples of the migraine pill Nurtec! Wonder Drug! That knocked that migraine out of me like it was nobody's. I am definitely recommending Dr Lerman!!

Dr Lerman took all the time needed from the first visit of my wife,to the last,to listened her case and suggest the treatment under the difficult conditions she is suffering for many years,certainly we admire and respect his knowledge and how he convey the message to her, explained reason of alternatives and why she must have some patience,taking the prescription adviced for her.She is following his recommendations and waiting for the better results,knowing that after her experience visiting several MD,isn't and easy case.

My PCP made a recommendation for several Urologists in the general area near my home. I selected Dr. Andrew Lerman from the list of providers. Dr. Lerman was thorough with his diagnosis and maintenance of the medicine I am taking and scheduled tests in a timely manner. I decided to select a new doctor because the staff of my former urologist of 20 years was unresponsive and seeing him was a challenge. The staff at Dr. Lerman's office were friendly and efficient. I look forward to this new relationship.

This is my second time seeing Dr Lerman. He’s very informative and a good listener. I appreciate how much time he takes with his patient. I have seen other Dr in his field of medicine and they don’t measure up to his care.

Dr. Lerman is very attentive, empathic and knowledgeable. The symptoms I was having were affecting my ability to concentrate, balance, mood, sleep and overall quality of life. As a physical therapist and having taught neuroscience I was very pleased with my visit and his approach to care. Would highly recommend him.

Great doc,but office staff horrible.Never tells him anything.I was supposed to do rehab for my legs .Staff did nothing.I have called several times and yet to get a call back.

Based on my experience with my mother, I would venture to say that Dr. Lerman is the most talented neurologist in South Florida. My mother has been suffering from daily migraines for over a decade, has traveled all over the nation seeking treatment and relief. Dr. Lerman has been the ONLY doctor that she has seen that has been able to provide her with any real relief. Dr. Lerman is a highly compassionate and knowledgeable neurologist with a great bedside manner. He is someone that truly cares about his patients. He is incredibly knowledgeable about all the tried and true treatments for neurological disorders like my mom's migraines, but also very up to date on the latest medications, clinical trials, and cutting edge technologies available. His office staff is also so warm and welcoming. I truly enjoyed going to her appointments and learning so much from Dr. Lerman! Thank you so much for giving my mom a much better quality of life after so many years of suffering!!

Dr. Lerman is one of the best doctors I have ever visited. He took the time to listen to my complaints, I never felt rushed, he's in the know about new medications and treatments , and he gave me options! I left my appointment with hope!

Cruel! Dr. Lerman's door was locked when I arrived not more than 15 minutes late. That lost trip was followed by a bill for $50.00 for a "missed appointment." They didn't even care enough to listen to me. He seemed like a great doctor, but a great doctor must also be a good person.

Dr. Lerman is simply amazing. I have suffered with headaches for a few months and after many visits to different doctors I was referred to him. I am so grateful to have found him. Here in Miami it is very hard to find a doctor that will listen, that cares, and will do their very best to help. He is definitely one I will keep. Very professional, very skilled, he is very detailed when explaining diagnosis and not to mention his bedside manners is impeccable. His staff is great, friendly.
