Dr. Livingston is a great guy. My surgery went well and i’m pleased with the results. Glory, his practice manager, was very nice, helpful, and easy to work with. However his receptionist was quite the opposite. She is very rude and unprofessional. She should receive further training on showing empathy and respect to their patients. She is extremely difficult to work with and is not suited to work in an office environment.

Dr Livingston is great but receptionist is terribl
I found Dr Livingston very great & knowledgeable. A great doctor does a great job. His assistant glory is wonderful nice helpful, and just great to work with. They’re receptionist who I will not name, but is their only one. she is-rude, unkind, no compassion, is a abrupt and literally hangs up on you, Has no professionalism in her at all, and should not be working in an office that deals with people who are in a cancer situation or any situation where they are in a state of stress or are upset. The front desk girl answers the phone, unprofessionally and irritated like she’s answering a phone call at home from a person she does not want to speak with. When you call to make an appointment, she speaks rudely, unkindly, sometimes very nasty, and treats patients like they’re more of an irritation than people who are dealing with cancer. This person does not have a compassionate bone in her body and does not treat people with kindness even after major surgery Personally she should be fired

Dr. Livingston has empowered me, with incredibly patient and thorough education, while making difficult decisions about breast reconstruction post-mastectomy. I am grateful for the peace of mind he provides with his continued care and guidance.

Thumbs Up
I went to a med center with an infected finger that they couldn't help with. The Dr. at the med center made one call to Dr. Livingston and he saw me within the hour and had me fixed up. He actually took time to discuss the issue and had me good to go with 4 stitches. The following Saturday I thought there was an infection starting, so I called his service. He called me right back and had me come to his office that morning (on a Saturday!) when I thought a picture of the finger would be enough. He removed the stitches and assured me everything was looking good. Fantastic, professional, caring Dr. who still takes time.

I thank God everyday for this amazing surgeon. Through his skill, he relieved me of physical pain and through just being himself, changed my life. My experience at the Southwest Surgical Center was top-notch. As a person who sees every process through the lens of process improvement, I can come up with nothing to change about the Southwest Surgical Center; from the receptionist to the recovery nurse, I loved everyone.

He was an amazing guy, great staff, very compassionate. I had my hand amputated almost 3 years ago and the 'end product', per se, looks very good. I could tell he really cared for me and my recovery, even noticed he got a little emotional at the end of our last meeting, great guy. I'd love to reconnect with him some time in the future.

I would NOT recommend Dr. Livingston and his staff, as they know how to cancel appointments!! I had my appointment set Feb. for May and as he had emergency surgeries (which I understand), I was put on a waiting list and then they put me in for August. NOW, the receptionist couldn't call me, I walked in and she said they need to cancel me as he'll be gone! I'm FURIOUS! I'm seeing a top notch surgeon and so thankful and they COMMUNICATE! NOT THIS OFFICE!!!

I had a terrible tragedy which required Dr. Livingston's expertise. He was kind and compassionate during my office appointments before and after surgery and he was very skilled and helped me tremendously in the operating room. I just can't say enough about Dr. Livingston. I would recommend him to any and every single person that is considering or requires plastic surgery.

I didn't really like him my first visit. However when I went in for surgery for a tendon repair to my hand, I realized I misjudged him. He was great as was his staff at Lacks surgical center! Great surgen, 4 days out of surgery and feel great and can tell surgery was a success! He saved me the use of two fingers. Thank you Dr. Livingston
