Refused to meet with me and recommended 'weight loss management' when I suggested I was experiencing insulin resistance. Thanks, not sure why I didn't think of that!

This guy stinks. Seriously pretentious.

Office canceled appointment because doctor does not treat pre-diabetes??? Not a medical problem? I guess this doctor has never heard of preventive medicine. Person canceling the appointment was rude, disrespectful and condescending. From the other reviews, it appears this attitude starts at the top, with Dr. Parziale. I'd look elsewhere, This doctor obviously stuck in his narrow practice, and has not adapted to evolution in medical treatment. Oh, and I am a physician.

I have been seeing DR Parziale for more than 5 years for Diabetes. I have had telehealth appointments as well as in person. He always listens and works well with me. I believe he is a brilliant doctor and knows his field extremely well.

I'm almost 50 yrs. old, and I've never met a more condescending, rude doctor. I was a few minutes late to my second appointment, and he essentially compared my being late to my inability to get my weight under control. His manner was shocking because he was very pleasant at my first appointment. It was like night and day. If you're looking for someone professional, respectful, and mature, definitely look elsewhere. (ps: waiting room was empty both times)

Dr. Parziale was able to get my thyroid back to normal and have a healthy pregnancy! He has always had a great bedside manner and seems to care about his patients

I found his practice at my insurance provider website, and I thought to give a try as I just moved to North Jersey. When I called his office to schedule an appointment, the lady who answered the call was extremely rude, she basically told me that because of my age (I'm pre-menopause), he was not the doctor for me. Then I mentioned that I had a theroid condition, then she judged that I was worth for his time. I scheduled my first appointment for Dec. 1st. One day before I received no appointment confirmation call nor text message, so I called them to be informed that I had NO APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED FOR ME!! I never saw Dr. Parziale and frankly I'm going back to my old doctor even if I have to travel for now. However, based on the rudest and unprofessional staff that he employes, he must be a horrible and deceived doctor.

This is so surprising to read these bad reviews about Dr. Parziale. I have been working with him for the past four years managing my thyroid concerns post-pregnancy and he has been nothing but supportive, kind, and considerate. I am wondering if some of these reviewers are specific to the weight loss or weight management program and not endocrinology in general. I have nothing but good things to say and hope my review lifts his ratings.

Dr. Parziale is the rudest, most disrespectful Dr. we've ever met. He's arrogant and doesn't work well with others. He actually refused to have a telephone conversation with another member of my husband's medical team, that's been practicing medicine a LOT longer than him. My husband has a complicated medical history, and he either wasn't interested in helping resolve his adrenal issue, or he's incapable of dealing with a more complex situation. He wasted our time and left us hanging. He actually got up and walked out after speaking with us for 3 minutes. This young man needs to learn how to treat people with respect and compassion. We do not recommend him.

Spent a lot of time with me explaining all my options, has been extremely supportive and patient. Great at explaining the science. Excellent in considering my whole health and taking everything into account for his recommendations. Went above and beyond to help me.

I am a Summit health employee and Dr. Parziale came highly recommended through a colleague of mine. I went to him for having difficulty losing weight on my own. Thought it would be great to be part of a program geared towards not just diet and exercise but also medications that have proven to help people like me lose the weight. I found it odd that my first visit, he never ordered a full bloodwork panel on me to determine what my levels were and with my history of hypertension as well as my high risk factor for diabetes. Gave the benefit of the doubt. During our 20-30min visits, he would ask a series of questions and we discussed in depth my options non surgical options that can be used to help. Was told that the medications would be possible and was willing to give any documentation to help get this done. To date, nothing done and he never documented things discussed to help get medications needed for my journey. The program is a sham and a waste of time!

I had many concerns and Dr. Parziale came recommended. His office cancelled my appointment twice. All they care about is selling their weight mgmt program for $600+. Cancels your initial appointment. I had many issues to discuss and wanted to speak to him in person. He will not even take the time to meet with you and go from there. They could care less about my concerns.. In all my years, I've never had a doctor to refuse to see me. It's mind boggling. I can see why the reviews have been so bad for new potential patients. He should just say NOT ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS - ONLY SELLING WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM

Dr. Parziale REFUSED to see me and his staff refused to give me an appointment because he cannot assist with more complex medical problems that are outside of the standard/common issues. He lacks outside-of-the-box thinking. He claimed I was "fine" despite my numerous symptoms that he was unwilling to help me with.

When you leave a doctors office feeling worse than when you arrived, you know you visited a bad doctor. Dr.Parziale fits this description. He’s pompous, arrogant and self absorbed. He refuses to allow you to be a part of the team and don’t even try. He will cut your visit short, refuse to do any testing that was scheduled for that visit and attempt to make you feel small. I’m a 73 year old woman with multiple genetic disorders. I’ve spent my life in doctors offices so I feel experienced enough to say that Dr Parziale shouldn’t be in the field of medicine at all. I have never been treated with the level of disrespect from a doctor in all of my years of poor health as I was today. I had to walk out of the visit. Take my advice and stay away from this man. I noticed that I was the only patient there. That should have been the warning sign. He’s a poor example of what a good doctor should be.

Do not go to this man....he is rude and unprofessional. I spoke to Summit Medical in detail about my experience and never received a callback & when I called to follow up. I was told they had no notes and needed a refresher.

Dr. P is extremely detailed in his explanations of diagnosis, conditions, and whats happening inside your body. He equips you with the knowledge you need to make an informed decision and takes the time to explain things.

Dr. Parziale is a very arrogant person. He does not take the time to listen to his patients. He cuts you off from talking, he's not interested in hearing your symptoms. He pushes medications, even if you are having very bad side effects. I feel stupid that I went to him for 4 years. I should have left years ago.

Dr. Parziale, and Elizabeth Lisa Torres, his Medical Assistant are the WORST. They are both very, very unprofessional, not compassionate. I had a horrible experience with the entire staff at the Weight Management Program. Please do your homework. Dr. Parziale's medical assistant Lisa is the worst, she is beyond rude. I requested to speak to Dr. Parziale instead of Dr. Parziale coming to the phone, Dr. Parziale disclosed confidential information to Lisa who didn’t know what she was talking about. I’m like what did Dr. Parziale tells you to tell me, can you repeat that. I’m like you have to be kidding. Why would Dr. Parziale discussed my medical information to a person who is not even a doctor? Are you kidding me? We had a nice 5 minutes, conversation on what Dr. Parziale said I should do it because "he spoke with my doctors and according to my doctor when he spoke to her, I need to set up appointments with other behaviorists doctors." Please do your research!! Unprofessional and rude.

Dr. Parziale was awful, not only did he have a very condescending attitude, but when he realized that he couldn't just write me a prescription as I am a generally healthy 49 year old woman who went to him about some questionable thyroid test results, he just stared at me blankly and rushed me out the door after a, literal 2 minute conversation. I was then billed for $188 dollars.

Dr. Parziale devoted much time and attention in my first visit and was very helpful in guiding me to treat my diabetic condition.
