Dr. Pundy’s receptionist was very kind and helpful after my 2 1/2 hour drive on the construction riddled tollways! He was the dr’s son. Dr. Pundy was very sweet and kind and dx me readily and correctly. He gave me helpful mental health information! He was patient and understanding. Knowledgeable about benzo withdrawal!!!

This Doctor misdiagnosed me during my very first appointment while I was sitting in the office with my dad just after turning 18. He had me take a five question quiz on the “symptoms” of this diagnosis. The questions were very general. Since my dad was there, he also had to take the same five question quiz. My answers contradicted my dads. He told me that an outside perspective is more valid in a psychiatrists perspective so he diagnosed me that same day and put me on the same medication my sister was taking at a high dosage. He ended the session by selling my dad a 200 dollar weighed blanket. From this harsh medication which I was not educated on I had what is called an “efficave switch” and experienced new symptoms of this disorder. It has taken me four years to have been put back on track and feel mentally clear.

He always is patience and listens to all my concerns. When a medication or behavior therapy he suggested doesn’t quite work well with me, he’s able to provide different approaches we could take, and explains each and every approach very clearly — the positives and negatives and what he would think is best. He is very patient and you can tell how knowledgeable he is. He’s always looking into new research and maintains to stay up to date with all his specialties. He doesn’t make you feel rushed, endures you feel comfortable, and doesn’t downplay /disregard your concerns. He doesn’t speak degradingly (which is something I experienced with past psychiatrists) and his staff, Shalon, is absolutely wonderful. She’s able to accommodate that I’m bad at phone calls so she takes the time to answer and send reminders to my email. She’s so sweet. By far the best doctor visit that I feel most comfortable with all around.

This guy is a scam artist. If you're just looking for someone to provide you with prescription drugs that you can abuse no questions asked then this is who you're looking for. If you're looking to seriously treat your issue then look anywhere else. He actually provided me a list of ADHD meds and said "pick one". When I told him I was here for his medical opinion, he started giving me mood stabilizers without any idea of how they worked which resulted in me getting sick!

I would never recommend him to anyone. Look up his court cases before schedulingan appt. Terrible time management. Always 45-60 min late. After 5 months and 4 different meds, I'm done. He doesn't read notes and has no idea what he is treating me for or the extremely rare medical condition that I have, that requires me to see a psychiatrist. 5 months of wasted time. His receptionist is lovely though! Very nice!
