Soooooo Disrespectful
I had my mom taken via ambulance to Novant...when I walked in her room I was told there were sending my mom home. I ask to speak to the Dr. In charge,I sat down and explained to him my mom had fallen a couple days prior and told him she was a fall risk as well I let him know she was dealing with continues UTIS and my mom was confused about taking her medicine correctly. He told me he knew my mom for quite some time...when I ask him to please put her under a 72 hr watch he said absolutely not !! His words were (i told your mom some time back I would rather she be put in a rest home). I have never been so disrespected and hurt for my mom in my life !! He then turned around and walked out of the room...I can not understand how a so called professional Dr. Can treat a 78 year old disabled woman so mean who has went through a traumatic car crash on Christmas in '96' when a drunk driver nearly took her life knowing she suffered a dramatic brain injury from it. Definitely Filing Charges !!

I have 0 stars to give. I sat right beside my husband while the Dr came in and he said that he was going to stick his finger in my husband's rectum and told my husband to roll over. When my husband asked if he could urinate first, the Dr told him that he has to get a move on and he's got too many patients to take care of. The Dr didn't ask who I was or ask whether or not I should leave for the procedure. For all he knew, I could have been a stranger. My husband was treated without any concern or discretion. The Dr. Was militant and demanding, and the experience was very violating. We will be filing a formal complaint.

If I could give zero stars I would. I went to the ER last year seeking help as I found a lump I knew I wasn’t right. All this doctor cared about was that I was a smoker that was overweight and uninsured. He made sure to let me know that the ER was not a place for this and he refused to give me the MRI I asked for. After clearly feeling the mass. He referred me to a orthopedic knowing I was a broke single mom without means to pay for that. So I waited the 6 months until I got my taxes back to go be seen and pay out of pocket. Guess what? CANCER!!! Rare myxoid lyposarcoma. The amount of people I asked for help over the last few years and been completely discarded is heartbreaking. Now I’ve have a huge surgery to remove it and the muscles around it that were necrotic. Thanks for not listening and judging me for some things out of my control.

Needs Class in Bedside Manners
My father was taken into ER on the 6th of February via EMS due to having been non-responsive when call to EMS was made. Upon Arrival at hospital tests were performed and concluded he had UTI. when the so called doctor came in he proceeded to say he was going to send him to a rehab facility to get him back on his feet for UTI He is 90 yrs of age and if he had read his medical records he would have not he needed assistance with walking. I inquire why would he need to go to rehab facility due to UTI and his response was and I quote " it is obvious he is not getting the proper home care he needs or we would have not bought him in for UTI via ambulance. You do know that wearing a catherer he is prone to UTI. My dad has had UTI in the past and not to the point that we experienced on Monday the 6th of Feb.
