Dr. Ritter is the kindest and most compassionate doctor. My husband was diagnosed with rectal cancer and after chemo and radiation had many health issues. His nurse always called me back promptly when messages were left and if there was a problem would have me bring him into the office immediately. There were times my husband was in the ER and Dr. Ritter would come into to take care of him (even though he was not on call). His staff loved him. On more than one occasion I was told by ER physicians that he was the best. He is. My husband would not be with me today without him. We are so thankful he is our doctor.

Do not reccomend this practice.
The exam was very uncomfortable as they did not provide a gown. They just had me pull my pants down. Very unprofessional. When I was told I needed to book a procedure, they could not be reached nor did they return several messages. I would not recommend this practice.

Dr. Ritter has spent no time with my husband’s follow up. We could not contact him. My husband called his office 4 times over a 3 day period. He was and is still having significant pain and bleeding. Dr. Ritter never called him back. The older lady who works in his office was very rude when my husband was trying to tell her his problem. We are very concerned for my husband's health. As I write we are sitting in the waiting room of Advent’s ER (4hours and 30 minutes) and still haven’t been seen. At least Advent treats their patients like humans. We wouldn’t have had to go to the ER if Dr. Ritter responded to our phone calls. Never again with this Group, they don’t care about their patients.

One of the worst physicians I've ever seen. Full of himself, non caring and more concerned about $$$$$. Even his staff has a lot of issues with him, they were very vocal about it. I'd never go back to him.......

Dr. Ritter is very frustrating. He rambled, stammered, talked in circles, and didn't answer my questions. Each time I asked him a question, he answered something different. It was like he was talking to himself. I basically got no answers and left more confused than when I got there.

Dr. Ritter is an excellent Doctor and Colorectal surgeon. He takes his time, listens, is compassionate, caring & genuinely concerned about his patients. I went to see him for a consultation for a colonoscopy..I did have to wait over an hour for my first visit, however filling out the new patient paperwork made it not so long of a wait..and worth the wait. My second visit w/ him in his Ormond office wasn't long of a wait at all. Both of his offices in Ormond and Port Orange as well as his staff

We couldn't recommend Dr. Ritter any more highly. We met him as a result of emergency surgery and consider him the gift that came from that surgery. He is compassionate, caring and very competent. He remains calm and thinks outside the box, he is wonderful!!

Dr. Ritter has taken care of my brother who was diagnosed with rectal cancer. Dr. Ritter is the sweetest Dr. I have ever met. He has taken great care of my brother with such great medical care. His compassion and grace has gotten us thru a very difficult time. I can't find all the words to say how much we appreciate Dr. Ritter and His staff.
