Dr. Andrew Ross, MD

11 years ago, my son had his umbilical cord wrapped around his neck. I had midwives delivering at Swedish. He was on call and came. It was my first meeting with him, so I was scared in many directions. He immediately came in, helped me and guided me to feeling in control of the situation with him. We got to the point where if I didn’t have him in 10am we would have to do a c-section. He got him out with me. (No c-section) He was a month early, so tiny and yet pretty healthy given the circumstances. Dr. Ross was suppose to leave on Vacation and stayed that week to make sure William (Liam) was set and ok. I feel so blessed to have been in such amazing hands and now He’s 11 going on 12, and is an awesome kid. I never got to say thank you cause life got so busy. Thank you!!

I have seen Dr. Ross many times over the last three years because I recently gave birth to my fourth child and the last 2 are 2 yrs. apart. I have been a patient of his for 3 of my kids and he is really good in the office or delivery room.He listens to my questions/concerns and always addresses them. When he explains things, he goes in-depth about the procedure etc because I like more info. than less:) I don't ever feel rushed when I see him whether it is a yearly exam or a prenatal appt

This was my first exam with this particular physician. The exam itself was adequate. What was extremely off-putting about the experience was that after the exam ended, after Dr. Ross and the MA left the room, I could hear him making very unprofessional remarks about my personality to other staff. It was incredibly disrespectful and unwarranted. I have no respect or trust for a physician who conducts himself so carelessly and unprofessionally. I will not be seeing this doctor again.
