Dr. Andrew Siegel, MD

During my annual follow-up appointment for cataract surgery yesterday, my visit with Dr. Siegel and his team was excellent. After a thorough eye exam, Dr. Siegel spent quite a bit of time reviewing and explaining the results. I appreciate his competence and cheerful demeanor. I highly recommend him.

Andrew Siegel is a highly professional doctor, very attentive to all details + a nice person. His schedule is scheduled for months, but when you get to the clinic, he spends enough time to realize what is happening with your eyes. His assistant and all the staff are also very professional and nice.

He has been watching my glaucoma for several years and is clearly reading the reports carefully. I feel I can trust his judgement and accept his recommendations. He has given me more than one option on how to treat my condition, but doesn't hesitate to recommend the one he feels is best for me.

In mid-January, I used the Privia system to make an appointment with Dr. Seigel because the only appointment I could schedule in McLean was several months in the future. In January, I made an appointment in Reston for Feb 19 at 4pm. When I arrived, they said I did not have an appointment and the earliest they could schedule one was in Reston on May 22 at 130 pm. When I consulted the Privia system, it said I could schedule an appointment in Reston on April 9 at 345pm. I then called to confirm my appointment in April and cancel my appointment in May. The customer service person told me that I had two accounts on Privia. I told her to cancel one of the accounts and confirm my appointment in April. After much activity on her part, she told me that I could not have the April 9 appointment because Dr. Seigel was not in that day. I then had enough.Dr. Seigel, I recommend that you seek another affiliation rather than the Eye Doctors of Virginia and their completely awful Privia sy

He is an excellent doctor. He explained everything regarding the reason for the surgery and what kind of lens to use. He is very knowledgeable in what he does and very kind and compassionate. He answers all the questions allowing me to make a good decision. I will recommend him to my friends if they will be needing cataract surgery.

Dr. Siegel was recommended to me by a friend about 6 years. That was a true blessing. He and the entire staff are awesome. Everyone is very professional, courteous, friendly, caring, compassionate and willing to answer any questions I have. I just went through cataract surgery in both eyes and could not be happier. I would highly recommend Dr. Siegel and his team for any eye issues. I wouldn't trust anyone else with m eyes.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Siegel for about 6 years. He is the reason I’m not completely blind in my left eye. He just preformed cataract surgery and now my sight is clearer and brighter than ever. He is a consummate professional and real good guy. I would send my own kids to see him. He’s the best!!!!!

His in-depth knowledge and skill, along with answering my questions, gave me the confidence to proceed with cataract surgeries in both eyes. The added laser-assisted cataract removal made the process much quicker and easier in addition to his state-of-the-art equipment. I am happy with my results and he is genuinely happy for me.

During my first meeting with Dr. Siegel, I was impressed by his caring, thoughtful manner which impressed me with his empathy and understanding for his patient. During my follow-up office visit, he sensed my anxiety about cataract surgery. I found that Dr. Siegel takes enough time to listen and explain everything about your eyesight’s health without rushing you. His manner puts you at ease, and you soon gain a sense that you're in very experienced, capable hands. Dr. Siegel is a very gifted Physician/Surgeon. My cataract surgery went smoothly and he provided excellent follow-up care. His office staff was always friendly, supportive and welcoming. I'm pleased that he was my surgeon.

Dr. Andrew Siegel is a true professional, and I feel fortunate to be his patient. Not only does he seem to be very knowledgeable in his field of ophthalmology. He is a ophthalmologist specialist focusing on glaucoma and cataract care. Dr. Siegel has a wonderful way of listening to my questions and takes time and care answering all my questions and/or concerns. He has such a professional and caring manner, and I think he is truly a five star doctor!

He is a wonderful person and a great physician. He has also great surgical skills. I can recommend him very highly to anyone who has eye problems. His office staff are very friendly. I am so lucky to have him as my ophthalmologist.

Dr Siegel has treated me for glaucoma damaged eyes since early 2020. The damage occurred under the care of other ophthalmologist. He has successfully performed several delicate operations/procedures on my eyes. I went to John Hopkins for consultations and the head of its eye institute completed me on the surgery had done. Dr Siegel is patient, explains what is doing and why, and answers all questions. I sometimes use his patient portal to ask questions between visits and he always responds promptly. His staff is efficient and friendly.
