Great Doctor
I have been Dr. Sokel's patient for 30 years. More than being a very competent doctor, he is a very sensitive and super human being. I have been able to reach him many times by e-mail and have gotten responses within 24 hours. My friends tell me that I am very fortunate to have such a great doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Sokel to any new patient.

Bad Practice
Never had visit. Made first appointment had a family emergency. Called to reschedule and was told if you don't come to first appointment you can never make another appointment and this is practice policy. I've never heard of such a thing. I was willing to pay for the missed appointment. Wouldn't recommend!

He is outstanding! Once my husband was rushed to the ER for a severe stomachache and the ER doctor said he got appendicitis and needed surgery. Luckily, my husband saw Dr. Sokel the following day for a second opinion and Dr. Sokel found my husband did not have appendicitis. Because of Dr. Sokel's correct diagnosis, my husband avoided an unnecessary harmful surgery. We are grateful to Dr. Sokel.

My reporting of Dr. Andrew Sokel goes back from my first visit to his office in 1999. I have remained his patient because he is EVERYTHING I look for in a Doctor. He is Professional and Caring. I never feel "rushed"when I explain symptoms/ concerns. He listens patiently and discusses each of my concerns in a caring manner. Dr. Sokel has a down-to-earth disposition that works for me. I recommend him as a Caring, Physician. Whether the visit is for Annual/Routine or Emergent - he is Wonderful.

I adore this man. He’s kind, funny, patient and super competent. I’ve been his patient for 13 years. I moved. Still drive an hour to see him. Refuse to switch doctors. I cannot more highly recommend Dr. Sokel.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sokel for over 25 years, he is a kind, caring, doctor very patient friendly! I have never felt rushed. He listens to all my complaints ( I am NOT an easy patient) Dr. Sokel never has lost his patience. He has always sent me to the best specialist. The practice is an easy going atmosphere, the doctor is down to earth, patient, understanding and his approach is knowledgeable and works with the patient..does not rush the patient as well. I would recommend his practice to my friends and family..

Dr. Sokel is a caring, Physician. He listens patiently to any questions or health concerns or topics and addresses them. I have been seeing him since 1990 and he has not changed. Always calm, professional and caring.
