Shockingly Unprofessional
This provider came highly recommended but I am shocked by his unprofessional attitude. After going through surgery work up and plans for cataract surgery, he decided to drop me due to a billing dispute with Margaret Moore OD from 6 months ago! He was in no way involved in the situation about the billing issue, yet I now have to start from scratch with a new ophthalmologist. I paid my copays for the visits and he even ordered the eye drops for the cataract surgery that was scheduled for April. Margaret Moore OD called me to discuss the issue I had from the visit with her but chose to insult my intelligence, literacy, and stated that “we all forget things when we get older.” My memory is as sharp today at 64 as it was at 34. Her comments were insulting, as is what Andrew Swan has chosen to do, leaving me high and dry with eyesight that he knows is decreasing significantly each day. I wasted months preparing and paying for the pre surgery planning, cost shares, & work up for nothing.

Great Experience
After recent visits to Dr Swan, I just had my first cataract surgery. Everyone in the office is professional and pleasant. Dr Swan was great from my first visit to post op. He explained and answered all my questions and put me at ease to proceed with the surgeries. He came highly recommended by a friend and my brother. I’m very pleased with Dr Swan and would highly recommend!

I have used this MD twice and this last time I scheduled two appointments and both were cancelled. On top of that the person who left the messages to cancel did so in a manner that made it clear that patient care is not a primary concern to this office. What makes this a big deal to me is this office is nearly impossible to get through to. That is, the phone is usually busy (who get's a busy signal these days?) or I am put on hold never to be spoken to again. What a waste of my time.
