Hands down one of the BEST!
My first visit with Dr. Vorenberg was informative and reassuring. I had to finally face the fact I needed surgery as my colon was very sick, and had been sick or chronically ill for quite some time. I suffered from terrible diverticular disease, and my attacks were many along with hospital stays. I remember meeting Dr. V in the ER, and he recommended surgery to remove a portion of my large intestine. I wanted to be involved in my care plan so I set out on a mission to make sure I gave him all of my scans, notes etc. so I would have the best chance of doing what was right for my health and long term outcome. After all of this, I found out taking a small portion out wasn't going to work for me. I ended up needing a total colectomy with an IRA. I went in on a Monday and walked out on Wednesday! I swear to this day all went perfect! It was life changing of course, but I'm almost three years out post surgery, and I will continue my journey with Dr. Vorenberg. He gave me my life back!

Very professionally run from time of making appointment to discharge. If there is such a thing as "having a good time" in a colonoscopy, the crew at Stony Point is the best!!!

Dr. Vorenberg and his entire staff are professional, highly-trained, well-organized, and extremely caring. On my initial visit with Dr. Vorenberg, he explained the procedure, discussed how issues would be handled should he find any, thoroughly reviewed my medical history, and addressed my concerns about anesthesia. I have had colonoscopies every three years for the past 24 years at either UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA or Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC, and I do not exaggerate when I say my colonoscopy with Dr. Vorenberg and his staff surpassed my outstanding five-star experiences at these two world-class hospitals. My husband had the same experience at this practice for his last colonoscopy.

Provided poor bedside manner to mother. Not very warm or empathetic doctor. Made demands and actually had my mom in tears because of his very poor bedside manner

Dr. Vorenburg and his staff were absolutely amazing! From the time I checked-in until the time I left, I was in such good care! I was so nervous for the procedure and the nurses took the time to help ease my mind along with Dr. Vorenberg. He took time to explain the process to me, and even made me crack a few smiles before heading in. The procedure was smooth sailing, and I am SO glad my PCP referred me to this practice! They are the best of the BEST, and I am recommending them to everyone!

I had a colonoscopy procedure. Entire office staff, from check-in to nurses, were extremely friendly and professional throughout. Maintained a relaxed and fun atmosphere during prep. Dr. Vorenburg was very thorough in post-procedure report. Outstanding medical practice.

Excellent care, compassion and concern. My husband has cancer and was in the hospital with complications. Dr. Vorenberg took it very serious and helped solve the problem. My husband is home recovering thanks to Dr. Vorenberg and his team!! I HIGHLY recommend him. He was such a comfort to me when I felt hopeless. Thank you Dr. Vorenberg for a job well done!

One of the worst medical office I ever had to deal with. The most inconsiderate and unwelcoming, the most unmedical like.

He failed to consult my previous surgeons or records. He did not listen to the facts of my reason for the visit and told me I needed a shrink and biofeedback. I was properly diagnosed a few weeks later and I am getting the help I need without the insult to my intelligence. I have worked for physicians much of my life and I have never seen one quite as arrogant. While he may have good surgical skills, I would never return to his practice. He dismissed my symptoms and concerns and was no help.

I don't recommend him. He was unwelcoming, uncompassionate, and unknowlegeable. He said he doesn't know what the problem is. He made me feel as though I was wasting his time. When I asked him questions, he put up his hand as if I should already know the answer! I left his office in pain and he didn't prescribe anything. You should see another doctor for your issue.
