Worst Primary Care Experience Ever
The worst primary care experience of my life. Dr. Young spend a good bit of time pushing information with that was dangerous, inaccurate, or both; that Covid was not as big a risk anymore (I'm immunocompromised and have substantial complications from Covid already), that no one really looks at vitamin D anymore (one of the most common labs done and important if you have a family hx of osteoporosis as I do), that healthcare workers being vaccinated for Covid protect ME from getting reinfected (false), and more. The visit was so uncomfortable. I tried to just avoid replying and get to the part where he ordered the labs I needed for routine preventive stuff but he pressed. It all made me want to avoid healthcare entirely. And when I got the whopping bill (for conditions he does not manage or treat) and asked his office for help multiple times, he flatly refused. I suspect it's because I didn't fawn when he was gaslighting me. Avoid. This is not health "care".
