Thorough & Accurate
I've been going to Dr Zohlman for a couple of years now and have always found him to be professional, friendly and thorough. I had a severe case of A-fib and with his diagnosis and intervention (two cadioversions) and his well-considered medicinal plan my A-Fib has gone away and has not returned in 3 years.

Dr Zohlman did a great job explaining the issue without a lot of fluff. He preformed the surgery needed and it went much better the I was expecting.

Dr. Zohlman is very thorough, thoughtful, and smart. He takes time to explain complex procedures and diagnoses. He also talks to my other doctors and makes sure they understand what he did. He does not recommend unnecessary procedures and goes through a lot of effort to explain what he did. I am upset to read the 1-star/negative reviews on him, because that has NOT been my experience with him. I know other doctors send their family to him because of his expertise and outstanding care.

Dr. Zohlman installed a new heart device that ended up making me gravely ill. This was after he lied and told me he was making an adjustment to my current device. On top of that he botched the procedure. He was very dismissive about my concerns and only followed up with me after my family pleaded with his colleagues for him to do so. After all of that I had to have two subsequent surgeries. Thankfully Dr. Zohlman didn’t have anything to do with those. I wouldn’t recommend him at all.

I found Dr. Zohlman to be extremely rude and condescending. He didn't explain in any detail, just insisted that surgery was the only option. It I could give him a score of zero it would be too high.

Does not listen to patients, performed apparently unnecessary procedure. After my experience I would give a zero rating if it were available.
