Wasted time and very disrespectful
At first she seemed to care to try a week long study of my husband brain but then after since then she hasn't cared much other then through meds at him. Which were not helping, my husband had a reaction to one of them and she basically said to us it was in his head not a reaction even though he was scratching all over the place and was paranoid and had a seizure that required an ambulance and ride to the ER but no its not the medication, which he had none of those symptoms before taking this medication. When we were finally able to make a in-person visit she mocked my husband and rolled her eyes several times and since my husband is taking alot of supplements to try to improve his health she mocked that too and said be very careful what you take. We will never recommend or ever see her or this clinic ever again.

I recently completed dr Peter’s seizure study and she is also my neurologist at the SLC VA. She struggles to listen to her patients and won’t talk to them like their people. On multiple occasions she has tried to tweak my meds even though they were working just fine. I feel bad for anyone who tried to have a professional conversation with her because it’s essentially talking to a brick wall. Before having dr Peter’s I would average one seizure a year, with dr Peter’s as my neurologist for one year she changed my meds and managed to increase that number to two in 10 days. If you are unfortunate enough to cross paths with dr Peter’s make sure you stick to your guns because she will try to force you into her way of thinking while telling you your opinion is wrong.

Won't ever go back
I have been extremely disappointed with this doctor. She does not listen and does not seem to care about your health. She has suggested medications and seizure therapies that are risky and inappropriate given my daughter's history. Recently my daughter has struggled with out of control seizures and I called to set up an appointment for a neurological evaluation. She refused to see us in person. Reluctantly I agreed to a video call. NOT ONCE in the entire 30+ minute visit did she ever ask to see my daughter, she just spoke to me. How can you properly treat someone you don't even see?? She then went on to suggest starting a new medication (which my daughter has a long history of serious drug reactions) literally a week before having surgery. My daughter's health is way too fragile to be able to handle a new medication and surgery at the same time. For the safety and well being of my daughter, we will not be seeing this doctor again.

I would not recommend Dr. Peters. While she may be an expert? She seems very disconnected from the task of improving the health and life of her patient. She appears insensitive. It takes MONTHS to get in for appts. It's difficult to follow up with her, example: your meds change and you're having problems. It takes months to get it sorted. Wasted 6 months and money trying to get help from this Dr.

My daughter saw Dr. Peters after her Doctor left the U of U. I was real confused by Dr Peters and why she asked my daughter about the prescriptions she was taking. She even had her show her what they looked like on her phone. I asked Why she didn't have her current history of meds on record and she got a little irritated with me. Call me stupid, but I think a Dr treating a patient for epilepsy should know what current meds their on. Not impressed.
