Dr Janicka is the best! Scope of knowledge is astounding. I would highly recommend being under her care.

This is the worst place to go, the receptionist at the Largo office is the rudest person I’ve ever come into contact with. I called the office last Wednesday to get a prior authorization for my diabetes medication. I’ve called everyday, messages everyday and spoke to the receptionist everyday. It’s now Wednesday again. Still nothing. I haven’t had my medication for a week, they don’t seem to care one way or the other.

Dr Janaka took over my care after surgery for Papillary Thyroid Cancer which was performed by Dr Clayman at Clayman Institution in Tampa . She has been striving to get all my levels normal and is making great progress . What I like most about Dr Janaka is she cares ! She listens and she strives to perfect . Absolute amazing Dr ! I highly recommend her !

Dr Janicka caught very early thyroid cancer with an ultrasound. Then a decade later has been managing new onset type 1 diabetes with great expertise. So grateful to have this doctor in my life. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Janicka is by far the most knowledgeable and caring doctor I have ever met. In four years under her care, I lost 75 pounds and my A1C was so well controlled (5.1) that I didn't even feel like a diabetic anymore! She actually takes the time to listen to her patients and work with them to try to ensure their success! Anyone would be hard pressed to find a better doctor!

She correctly diagnosed my medication problem and lowered the dosage to the perfect amount of medication for me to feel normal again. Everything she suggested I do to improve myself worked. I highly recommend Dr. Janicka to anyone who needs a thyroid doctor.

Best endocronologist I've ever had. 5 star bedside manners. Very caring, takes her time with you, and has the patience of a Saint. Explains everything clearly and shows true concern and compassion. Finds the root of the problem and does not over medicate. Ever so grateful to be in her care!

I was on the fence about keeping Dr. Janicka as my endo. She scoffed several times at me mentioning using diet to help lower my autoimmunity. She wanted to put me on meds for a condition she never tested me for! She later discharged me as a patient for no reason. I didn’t owe her money, didn’t miss appointments, no other reason to have discharged me and when I called after a month of waiting to hear back as to why, she told Linda/Brenda that she would not give a reason why and I was hung up on.

after several years of going to multiple endocrinologists for my diabetes with no success.....I found Dr. Janicka and I recommend her to all of my friends and relatives. She's so knowledgeable in the treatment of my diabetes. My A1C is down to 6.1 and she was able to take me off of Humalog insulin as it caused me so much weight gain. What I love most about her is her compassion, she's so kind & sweet to her patients & I appreciate those qualities as much as her medical expertise.

Plan to be there at least 2 hours (with less than 10 min spent with the doctor). Lack of respect for her patients time. I have had appointments first thing in the morning and right after lunch. For both of those appointments I still waited over an hour to see her - inexcusable! Do a better job of scheduling your patients if you are running behind that often. On the upside, I do think she is knowledgeable and I have an unusual combination of conditions so therefore I wait and wait...

I have been a patient of Dr. Janicka for just over 1 year, she is the first doctor to send me for diabetes and diet training.

Dr. Janicka listens and has a compassionate heart. Her best quality is that while she will tell it to you straight, she has a wonderful bed-side manner. She is not afraid to try different things and is interested in how her patients feel and not just what the blood results give. She is open and honest. We have a wonderful doctor/patient relationship. Her portal is a useful tool and I am able to email with her questions without having to schedule an appointment.

Dr Janicka was my doctor for several years and managed my Graves disease. I switched to a new doctor this year for a few reasons. Every time I had an appointment the wait time was consistently between 1 hour and an hour and a half. The office and doctor have a complete disrespect for their patient's time. She is also rude and unfriendly as well. Since switching to a new doctor my Graves disease has been monitored much better and is under better control. Expect to be there for 2 hours.

Dr. Janicka is wonderful. She is very informative and makes a scary situation calming. I highly recommend her. She answered all of my questions and did not rush me out of the office.
