I enjoyed the time I spent with Dr Gupta. He appeared to be 100% present during my visit. Allowed me to ask as many questions as needed and explain my concerns. He was very attentive and I never felt rushed. A great experience

Dr Gupta was awesome. He explained the process in detail. Asked if we had any questions or concerns. He listened very carefully and gave answers that made us feel at ease. We did not leave without full knowledge of bariatric surgery and the steps it takes til surgery day.

The survey questions do not really pertain to why I had a visit. My visit was an initial visit to see if I qualified for bariatric surgery. There were challenges with getting through the initial times I tried. I would submit emails as instructed on website and insurance paperwork and no one would respond back. Finally, after the third time someone responded back. My scheduled appointment with Dr. Grupta was great. He was kind, attentive, non judgmental. He did not rush the appointment. He took my intake and reviewed my medical history. We discussed the various options for me. I was extremely anxious about this appointment but he quickly had me relaxed. The frustrating part, is if I continue to meet the criteria for the surgery, I can not even start the process until sometime in February, when a dietitian will finally be available to start the monthly meetings.

Dr Gupta is a very good provider, the only thing I would have to say is when trying to contact him and getting a response either is slow or never achieved. He has a lot on his plate as he is the head board member and so I try to take that into consideration. I waited over a month for a response regarding surgery and while waiting I lost one of my health benefits. He apologized to me for not getting back to me and I fully accepted his apology. Other than that he has always been respectful and very thorough when it comes to my health and what is needed. I have no complaints about the doctor himself he is a great asset to Swedish
