The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, appointments run on schedule, and Dr. Ochs is attentive, concerned, and more helpful than other oncologists I have had.

She is not compassionate. She didn't take necessary steps in order. She didn't do anything to help improve quality then literally kicked my family member to the curb because after she had us going all over the place plus her ordering wrong test made us make a trip for nothing! Had us going to E.R. subjecting my family member to illness.. Which did effect family member and got ill waiting 2 times 4 hours a stretch to get admitted because she doesn't know what she is doing! Sending a cancer patient to sit at flu season in E.R. 2 days in a row?? No beds just a waste.There is more to cancer then chemo like diet and keeping immune system good none of which she addressed! Cancer center on 144 addressed all issues! Go there!!! They are straight forward they have a plan set in motion to help give some quality of life!March 05, 2025

Knowledge, trust and command of facts for care

I was given all the information needed to make an informed decision about my care needs. We discussed the testing I had requested. The results of the medication being offered’s pros and cons. The facts about my metastatic breast cancer return rate, as well as the % of prevention on the medications I needed. It took extra time for her to listen and help me understand everything. She didn’t rush or make me feel pressured about the options. I am waiting for the pharmacy to assist me with a program with cost. Her office will be working to get me a reasonable price with the programs available. So for a year now I have been under her care. She is able to answer all my questions and make me feel like I have options. At 67 I am fighting to live, with all that she has she is fighting to help me do just that. It can’t be an easy job to watch her patients suffer, and know some will not make it through this battle. But I know she fights with me and that is a great comfort. Thank you Dr Ochs

Short waiting time

The staff at Texas Onchology is excellent, also. Never have to wait unnecessarily, unlike some others.

Dr. Ochs is a very good doctor that sees patients in Weatherford and other locations nearby. If you are lucky enough to have her assigned to you, then you to will experience a doctor who takes your condition as seriously as you. She has a wonderful temperament and stays calm throughout your appointment. I can highly recommend her if you are about to receive treatment at this location!
