Nurse Ratchet
I came away from our first appointment shaking. Felt like I was in an interrogation room with Nurse Ratchet

Gave me too high dosage and always ran late
Not a good doctor. always made me wait at least forty minutes before appointments. She really is the bottom of the barrel. I know Id be dead if I had faithfully taken the dosage she prescribed me.

Dr. McIntosh is my first psychiatrist and I feel discouraged after seeing her. After my first appointment I was told I would receive a follow-up appointment in about two months--this was noted on my chart. This appointment was never set, so I did not receive a follow-up until six months after. I did not receive anything so much as a phone call in the interim to check-in regarding my medication. After my follow-up, I felt very judged and ashamed of myself. Dr. McIntosh did not give any medical feedback because of my substance use. She implied I was an addict with no compassion whatsoever. I do not feel comfortable receiving care from her.

I would give 0 stars if possible. She has absolutely no bedside manner. Never before have I felt more judged by a doctor. She was rude and was not really listening to what I was trying to say. I have a hard time opening up about myself and expressing what and how I’m feeling and the way she made me feel only made those problems worse.

If you ever want to scare someone into never sharing their feelings with a health care professional again, send them to Dr. McIntosh. Watch what you say, she'll twist it around on you as if you're being ridiculous, and if your frustration about that shows, she'll just tell you that's further proof that you're unstable. She's a horrible doctor and shouldn't be allowed to do this job. She doesn't help, she shuts people down.
