Dr. Ann Payne-Johnson, MD

Every visit my concerns on my health are addressed and helped. It’s not often to have a doctor who creates a caring and effective treatment plan like Dr. Anne Payne-Johnson. Her clinical analysis of all my convoluted illness has made me healthier and happier. Absolutely a great physician!

My first visit with Dr Johnson ended in tears of joy! I had gone to doctor after doctor for YEARS about 10+, to be exact. I knew something was off, but they all kept telling me I was fine. I went to Dr. Johnson, and in 20 minutes, she had given me a proper... and accurate... diagnosis. She started treating my condition and my world did a complete 180. I AM SO GREATFUL for Dr. Johnson. Honest to God, if I had not found her I would have missed out on half my life due to chronic fatigue and a merry of other symptoms... and the other half in a haze, unable to function and not knowing why. I LOVE HER! I would absolutely recommend her!! No questions asked. THANK YOU Dr. Johnson, for saving my life!!

I really hate leaving bad reviews, but this is a necessary warning: DO NOT go to Dr. Payne-Johnson if you have any mental illness, even if you're just going for something like an annual checkup, because she will treat you like dog **** on the bottom of her shoe if she finds out. She also runs super late and then takes it out on the patient. I'm very glad to have a different PCP now who's both kind and efficient, because Dr. Payne-Johnson was neither! ??

My family has been patients of Dr. Johnson since she first started working in Pace. She is quite knowledgeable with every problem we have presented her with. We absolutely love her and her nurse Leanna! It upsets me when she gets a bad review because of someone having to wait for an office visit for the first time, every doctor I’ve ever seen for the first time takes awhile to get in, especially if they are worth seeing.

My husband sees her and I'm trying to get my son and myself in to see her too. Very caring and knowledgeable. Amazing doctor!

Dr. Payne-Johnson is such a caring, sweet person. She really takes the time to get to know you, not just health-wise, but on a personal level, too. I feel like I'm in really good hands with her. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a new provider.

I have seen Dr. Payne-Johnson a few times and I made her my primary care physician. Although, on some occasions when I needed to see Dr. Payne-Johnson she was not working or not available. Today, I needed to see a doctor - not wait a week or two. I called and the receptionist took my information, put me on hold and then came back and said that they would call me back after Dr. Payne-Johnson decided what she wanted to do. WHAT??? What she wanted to do????? I found another physician!!!

She is an amazing Doctor. Very easy to talk to and genuinely cares.

I had gone twice to Dr. Johnson's as I had to change my long term Dr. to another because my insurance and changed he didn't accept my insurance. I just get thyroid and blood pressure medicine. She was booked up until the 26th of Jan. and they only thing they could offer was to wait and see if there was a cancellation in the near future. What? No calling in enough until you can see the Dr.? One time when I called the nurse never even called me back. I called my old Dr. and was in 11/2 hrs later.
