Dr. Imperato is very thorough, knowledgeable, dedicated and also a model rheumatologist. A genuine doctor to keep. She just stands out! I have improved and felt better after gradually avoiding sweets. I will honestly tell her that I was not 100% in controlling my intake on some visits. She takes time with her patients. She discovered that I was mis-diagnose for the past 10 years....and I am so fortunate to have her. She will tell you directly to avoid foods that will cause more inflamation. The waiting times is because she does NOT rush her patients and she is thorough and tries to find the best medication to help people with Psoriatic Arthritis. Most patients in the waiting room says the same thing with other conditions. The recent office staff has changed and are very courteous, responsible and caring. They also have a courtesy system call where both patient and office staff communicate if the doctor is running late. A special place to be. I have been seen by specialist in 4 countries and many states in the USA, and this is a model office. Wish she had a twin to help more people with such complicated cases.

Unfortunately, I received poor treatment both from the doctor herself and the office staff. It seems like all they care is about money.

HORRIBLE TO MY ELDERLY MOTHER! AVOID THIS DOCTOR!
TERRIBLE. Dr. Imperato yelled and screamed at my 86-year-old mother over the phone and made her so upset and shaken. All because my mother got Covid and my father's doctor prescribed her Paxlovid. When my mother called to talk to Dr. Imperato regarding taking the Paxlovid she was screamed at for no reason. Dr. Imperato yelled and said 'I CAN'T HELP YOU' and 'GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM'! This was totally unnecessary and uncalled for. If you have elderly parents and want them cared for in a kind, compassionate way avoid this doctor at all costs!!!

outstanding rheumatologist
I've been a patient of Dr. Imperato for several years. One of the best doctors I've ever had. She dedicates whatever time is necessary to thoroughly address the condition, and is always up to date with the latest research. She is also a very caring and conscientious physician who goes out of her way to help her patients when they're in need.

Extremely responsive and thorough. I saw her as a new patient recently and felt immediately that she was present during our visit and interested in helping to identify what was causing my symptoms. Would absolutely recommend!

First of all the wait time is out of control, even if you call and they tell you to come an hr later, you still wait at least an hr. She is very nice when you are with her but don’t try calling to ask a question, I was told I needed to make another appt. took my blood work but never adjusted my meds accordingly. I have bad osteoporosis n never told to go on calcium, I had to call n ask a nurse. She kept me on a high dose of Vit d n told me I should of followed up. Isn’t that her job to read labs n adjust meds. That’s right she won’t call you. Would not recommend her. Just called her office three days ago to ask a simple question still no response. Very disappointed since she came highly recommend.

Dr. Anna Imperato is a highly skilled practitioner. She uses all resources available to diagnose, treat AND adjust treatment to get the best result for each individual patient. More importantly, Dr. Imperato shares all her thoughts and concerns about treatment - in real time. While there may not be any magic bullets when treating inflammatory conditions, there are new drugs and biologics that make the difference between pain and suffering and enjoying life every day. Dr. Imperato is current on all that research, too. I can say without reservation, Dr. Anna Imperato has my highest recommendation.

Dr. Imperato is a wonderful physician! She is so thorough with her patients- she really takes the time to listen and examine them. Patients have complained that she has a long wait, but for me, it is worth it to have a doctor who really listens to me and understands and can empathize with my pain. Would highly recommend her as a skilled and trustworthy rheumatologist.

Dr Imperato is not only a very skilled practitioner but she is very compassionate, caring, and a very good human being. The doctor diagnosed my mother's condition (polymyositis - auto immune disease) in two days. This is very difficult condition to diagnose, and she came up with a good treatment plan that works with my mom. I accompany my mother for her infusion and which can take 3 hours and the office provide me accommodation so I can work remotely. The doctor and her support staff are the best !!!

Dr Imperato is tops in her field .She went out of her way to help my husband with his gout in and out of the hospital setting . On a Sunday left medicine by her office for us ,,after taking her family to church . Tell me if any other Dr would do that ? She gets all my respect ! I sent her a new client and he is very happy I did refer her . His wife is a nurse that comes in my salon . I asked her what did your husband say after meeting Dr Imperato ? She told me he loves her and will keep going to see her .

Her office staff is "uppity" and Dr. Imperato may have skills, but it is NOT in the "interpersonal skills aspect". I simply SAID (not complained or Yelled), it was difficult for me to wait the over 2 hours in the waiting room. And she wrote in my notes that I was a "difficult" patient. YOU judge from that

This Doctor is Judgemental about her patients and documents as such. For example if you ask her a question, she will document you as a patient who is anxious and combative... Her office staff is disconnected for its patients, thinking that "your time" means very little. So if you have to wait 2 hours in the office, that is no big deal!

Dr Imperato is a wonderful caring doctor who takes the time to do a thorough medical history. She will spend up to 1 hour with new patients. She diagnosed my rheumatic condition after spending years wondering what was wrong with me. She does tend to run behind on appointment times but because she has a totally private practice you can call ahead and speak to the front desk( as opposed to a central call center). The office visit is totally one on one and I never felt rushed. She is also very up to date on current treatments. I highly recommend her.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Imperato as a medical student during my clerkships. Not only does she have a great deal of knowledge about various rheumatological pathologies, but she also has a great bedside manner. In this day and age, it is hard for doctor's to spend more than 15 minutes with a patient without taking a financial hit. Dr. Imperato would spend 30-45 minutes on average with each patient that we saw together, and would sometimes finish later than her office hours to give e

Dr. Imperato has an extraordinary attention to detail and is undoubtedly one of the hardest working doctors you will find. She literally saved my mother’s life twice because of how well she pays attention. She called my mother at 5am once telling her she needed to immediately go to the ER. After spending 3 months in the hospital with her treating my mother, I can verify she works hours like this every day. Doctors like this are NOT easy to find.
