Disinterested, Rushed
She wasn't my delivery doctor; however, provided care prior to delivery. She was my least favorite on rotation of practicing doctors. For routine visits she was rushed, disinterested, dismissive of basic questions, rude to myself and husband. I was thrilled she wasn't called during my delivery as other doctors seemed to like their jobs.

Dr. Taylor-Shih was the delivery doctor for my firstborn. She seemed generally disinterested the entire time and was pushing for a C-section starting about 20min into delivery. While my labor may have taken longer than average, I was able to have a successful vaginal delivery, despite her initial recommendation. Similarly, during my office visit with her during my pregnancy, she was generally disinterested/not engaged. While her bedside manner certainly leaves something to be desired, she is a good, technically competent doctor.

Dr. Taylor-Shih really advocated for me during delivery. Because of her I was able to have the vaginal delivery that I wanted. I am so happy she fought for me instead of going straight to csec as the other Dr. wanted.
